Remarks

While being in college, we used to crib about 85% mandatory attendance and strict rules around it but once you are out of college to face the real world you realize that college turns you into a better and much more disciplined person that you were before. So it is a blessing in disguise. However management is very strict with the rules and regulations.

Entrance Preview

Gave CLAT 2010. However my college had a separate entrance exam. No scores were declared. Only that you've cleared the exam or not. They have 3 interview process. 1. Written 2. GDPI 3. Personal 1 on 1. I chose this college because of the goodwill and good name.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course was BALLB. The subjects that we had were very good with amazing staff. Teachers were knowledgeable and we used to have seminars from one if the best lawyers from the country. The exposure from the university was great and helpful. It was fun along with studies that we were taught about.

Internships Opportunities

No my department doesn't provide internship. Not that I know of any. However, they provide internship opportunities for students bodies with different law firms, companies, individual lawyers.

Placement Experience

4

From my batch approximately 70% students got placed. And rest 20% went abroad for their masters. We were provided with few really good offers and job processes. Companies, firms and individual lawyers were called by our special 'Internship committee' cell which is run by student body under the supervision of one or two professors. Many students got placed with really good opening package and are doing well. I was one of the students to get placed from college.

College Events

5

There are many. Few major being. 1. Inter department cultural event known as Blossoms 2. Within law school, a cultural competition 3. Yearly fest 4. Ethnic Day celebration known as Bhasha Utsav 5. National moot court competition 6. National conference on Constitutional Law. 8. Jail, village and industry visits 7. Seminars and special lectures

Fee Structure And Facilities

That depends. I did BA + LLB 1st year - 1,20,000 2nd year - 95,000 3rd year - 95,000 4th year - 95,000 5th year - 1,20,000. The fees structure was different and a little more was BBA LLB students. They pay 50,000 more from our fees ever year. So it is, fees of BALLB + 50,000 = fees of a BBA LLB student

Fees and Financial Aid

I think there are both scholarship and loan facility available. But neither I have availed any nor I'm sure about it

Campus Life

5

Campus life used to be happening with people playing basketball and other sports all the time. The cultural fests were ongoing events. Parliamentary Debates were a common practice in my department and there were many science fests also organised. Campus was really green with good infrastructure and amazing greenery

Hostel Facilities

3

I didn't stay in college hostel. But I've heard it is no less than a five star hotel with really good facilities provided at minimal charge. However had strict security. Food wasn't provided in hostel but there are multiple food outlets in the campus which used to remain open till 9-10 PM.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. We have alumni meets ever year. Where students discuss their career options, Market expectations and catch up on the old friends. It is compulsory being in college to register for the alumni meet.

Exam Structure

They have 2 semesters in a year. And 3 tests in 1 semester. 1. CIA 1 being a small class test within 1 month of the semester. 2. CIA 2 aka. Mid term comes after 2 months of the semester. 3. CIA 3 was research papers where an opportunity was given to write your own research work and get it published. Which comes in your 3rd month of the semester. Before the final examination of the semester. I was in a 5 years course so I had 10 semesters in total.

Admission

Came to know through a senior who was studying there and from my coaching institute. The process was easy. They had asked us to bring documents. And fees was deposited through cheque or online mode. The staff was very cooperative. It was just a day process after they confirmed that I've been selected by the institution.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty was really great. We had few of the best professors with immense knowledge. Few senior professors had published few books of their own. The professors were friendly, approachable and helpful. I am still in touch with a couple of them even after leaving college. They were hardworking teachers who actually invested time and energy to teach us in new different ways.

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.
