Course Curriculum Overview

5

My passion is Nutrition, and that's the reason I chose the course. Faculties are a boon to us. They're sound, knowledgeable, friendly, amazing, and well-wishers. We have a good report! Since it's a master's degree, we had two semesters each per year and they were advanced enough to nurture the future needs. It was easy to clear up the exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The company which gave me a medical coder offer is Visionary RCM, Guindy, Chennai. But no internships with stipends. We were receiving intern opportunities from hospitals and food manufacturing units. Owing to Corona, we'd an online internship in Wootu Nutrition exploring different aspects of Nutrition.

Placement Experience

4.5

During the second year, the third semester we were eligible for campus placements. Since it was a pandemic, we had online assessments & interviews. But after some upliftment of restrictions, we went to Visionary RCM, Guindy for a medical coder job. I was shortlisted for the same offer with 20k/ month, Night Shifts but no cabs for transportation. Almost all of us got offers! My plans are going around on Clinical Fields or for teaching students

Fees and Financial Aid

When I joined the college, the fee was 50k/ year. But, when I was nearing completion, I came to know that there is a hike in fees amounting to 52k/ year. I didn't have any scholarships, no financial assistance. I got a job on campus interview but not with a stipend.

Campus Life

4.5

We had lots of events happening in the class college throughout the year for education, knowledge & entertainment purposes. Due to some construction work, we didnt have a proper classroom. But the labs were well equipped with spaces for teaching through blackboards, practicals, and smart classrooms. Sports were good at that time. Extracurricular activities... We had certificate courses like embroidery, etc on the campus We have the youth red cross, red ribbon club, etc

Admission

B.sc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics is eligibility Despite the Application process being online mode, we were guided in a proper way to complete the admission and it was made mandatory to complete admission before July 2019. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.
