My college experience

I belong to the department of commerce and I have 2 staff for each subject. Generally, our department is a vast one and there are enough faculties for us. Almost every staff in my department has studied for a double degree and has done with their phd. We usually 3 continuous assessments and the average of them will be taken as internals for the end-semester exam. The pattern of the question paper and the details about the exams will be clearly stated and we can score easily in our internal exams.

We have two choices for our internship. We can choose from the company provided by our college or we can choose by ourselves. I chose by myself. But the college will provide internships for the students.

We have campus placements in our college. From the first year, we are trained for our placements and they provide communication training, and aptitude training, conduct mock interviews and help us to develop our skills.

The fees for a year are divided into 3 terms. There will be a 2-month gap between each term's fees. The college will not put pressure on the students to pay their fees. If they exceed the due date they just remind them about the fees and will not pressure the students. All types of scholarships are provided we will get 100% placements from our college.

Every 6 months we have our college culture both inter-department and inter-college. We can participate in all the cultural activities and they encourage us to do so. We have more than 10 clubs and each one can join up to 2 clubs and it is mandatory to join in any one club. The club events also take place regularly.

The admission link is available on their college website. The students have to fill in their 12th and 10th marks scored by them and the courses which they opt for and they have to submit the online application form. The college will send an email regarding the confirmation of a seat and the candidates are chosen based on their marks. The college will call for the marksheet verification and the candidate has to pay the first term fees and the process gets over.
