Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Electronics engineering because I always found it interesting and full of growth. Student to faculty ratio is optimum. For every major subject, we have at least 2 teachers in the field. Every faculty have a Master's degree if not Ph.D. Term exams were every 5 months and were mildly difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Very few companies come to offer internships in our college. Companies like LTI, Newgen, and IBM have offered internships to students of our college in their final year. Projects like the automation of the helpdesk were provided to one of the students.
Placement Experience
The placements are pretty average. Only IT sector mass recruiting companies come to college with very few start-ups. Companies like Accenture, TCS, and LTI came to our College. The highest package on campus is around 9 lakhs while the average package is 4.5 lakhs per annum. Around 60% of people get placed every year. My plan is to do a job in the company that I have got placement in.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for colleges other than hostel and mess is around 1 lakh per year excluding 64000 per year for hostel and mess. There are many scholarships for financial aid based on family income and caste like MMVY etc.
Campus Life
There are no particular fests or events that are conducted every year. There are a few small-scale club events that are organised by students between Nov to Feb. Availability of books in the library is optimal. All the necessary course books are available in proper quantity. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with projectors. Sports and extracurricular activities are very prevalent in the campus, space is also provided for the same. There are many clubs on campus like ISTE, IETE, robotics club, etc.
Admission
Admission was done through the government portal MPDTE. The entrance exam was JEE Mains. It's a famous exam, you can find the form online. Application fees are 1000-1500 rs. It's a time taking the process from result date to admission.
