Likes

It is a government autonomous college so my degree's credibility would be high as compared to private colleges.
A very reputed and old college so all the things are stable and management is very well organised.
College is near to my hometown (katni). So I am able to do up-down daily. So it's very convenient for me.

Dislikes

Placements are not available for each core branch, only IT mass recruiters are hiring so no scope for students who wanna go into his core field.
Little scope for inventions, if you are very much interested in research field then this college is not for you.
In some branches most of the faculties are temporary.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was interested in electronics. Faculties in this department are very knowledgeable and experienced. Exams happen timely and those who have attended the classes regularly, clear the exams easily with good grades. Also, those who study one night before exams and know something about the subject also manage to pass. But those who have no idea what's going on in college have to appear for back.

I am not interested in placements. As I have decided to go for masters (MBA). So I am having a less idea of placement stats. But yeah, as I have heard our college provides an average placement of 4-5 lpa provided by the mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a government college so don't worry about the fees. As I am a general male with a bad rank in jee mains. So no scholarship for me and I am paying the maximum fee that too is 12500 for a semester, less than my 6-month school fee.

Campus Life

Aavahan is our annual fest which includes many sports, music and dance events. Also, our music club, dance club, literary club, NGO, etc, all are very active. Classrooms are well maintained. And we have a lush green campus. Also it is the oldest college of central India so you will see a lot of infrastructure that belongs to British era.

Admission

I appeared for jee mains and was not able to clear it that's why not eligible for jee advanced. Then I appeared in mpdte counselling through jee mains percentile and got an IP branch at JEC. I came 1st in college in my first year (according to total theory marks obtained by all the students). Hence I got an opportunity to upgrade/change my branch. So I choose E&TC.

Because I wanted to have a technical background so I opted for btech. After completing it I will be looking to pursue MBA.

after the completion of third year students become eligible for campus placements companies which visit are infosys cisco tata amazon and many more highest package for 2024 was 52 lpa and the average package is 11 LPA 60-70% students gget placed after my degree i plan to get a solid 9-5 job earning a decent living of my life and serving my parents

We have domains and certain denomination in placements like 6 figure denomination for top performing students as they get placements in excess of 10 lakhs. Average as of last year median is around 7 lakhs for electrical branch students.

Placement Experience:

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Jiwaji University Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Jabalpur Engineering College enough review

Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. Every year in july and august time there was counsling happed you can apply through mpdte portal andyou can join at lower rank and if your are not able to pay more fee in private colleges that was a good option for you . Everything about JEC Jabalpur

So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch . Mostly students preferred CSE , IT and AI branch . I also applied in SGSITS indore but because of my low score I didn't make it to go there...Read More
