college is liberal in all sense. absolutely no ragging allowed in the campus. the staff being old employees do some over action and try to show their authority over new students.

got admission in college based on EAMCET examination conducted by Andhra Pradesh government. Got Civil Engineering by getting rank of 9000 in open category out of some 3lakh odd candidates

Our College being Autonomous we had our own syllabus not just a random one based on a university syllabus. This enables us to update our syllabus based on recent technological developments There are electives in final year , but they are normally chosen by the college itself

Internship is available for Mtech students , they are allowed to take classes for btech students with a stipend of 8000. Other than this there is a compulsory internship after 6th semester which should be searched by the student itself.

placement opportunities are good for Electronics and communication engineering and computer science engineering students, which about 80% placement record. for other branches placement is quite a bit less In civil engineering Just L&T offered placement to 7 students with 3.6 LPA package else others which came for placement offered just about 2-2.5 pa package

Cultural events , fests , sports and annual events are conducted every year on grand scale. Student participation is best . many students from other colleges participate Annual sports meet is conducted with competitions between all branches and championship award is given at last

fee structure is determined by government. in 2009 it was just 30500 for merit student who got seats through EAMCET and 98000 for Candidates in NRI quota. Now fees have been increased too largely by the government of Andhra Pradesh with up to 1 lakh per annum and 8500+ for other fees and library accreditation etc

government of Andhra Pradesh provides scholarships for economically backward communities, backward classes , schedules tribes and schedule castes upto some extent every year

Gender ratios depend on branches , civil and mechanical engineering branches have very low gender ration with very less number of female students where as branches like electronics and communication engineering, computer science engineering etc have very high enrollment of female students. sports an other cultural and technical events take place all round the year.

Hostels are provided for both males and females separately with normal quality conditions. Female hostels re near by college and males hostel is far away from college in the heart of the city. food quality in hostel is rated as just average with a cup of chicken every Wednesday

there is an alumni association setup by the old students of the college. frequent get together and meeting are held and organised

Examination structure is very liberal . There internals are conducted out of which 2 are considered for final marks. 30% marks are from internals and remaining in external examination. Papers are set by college and there is no jumbling system as other jntu colleg. That is student writes exam in the college itself

Process went through online counselling of EAMCET which is conducted by Education Department Andhra Pradesh. first certificates are verified at a verification center, then asked to put option of student choice including choice of college, branch of study etc

In 2009 when I joined in college its est for the civil engineering faculty compared in all over AP. but after 2010 few professors have left the college due to retirement issues etc. by 2013 it has just 4 PhD professors, and about 2 pursuing PhD and most of others are MTech graduates
