Course Curriculum Overview
All the faculty members are quite good but I also want to mention that our college lack in a number of senior faculty but the college provides guest faculty on behalf of them but most of the senior faculty are very much knowledgeable and the guest faculty also tries to help you as much as they can so faculty: student ratio is not that bad so it is not considered as a major problem but the pace on which the syllabus is covered is what I don't like that much because around 1-2 modules were covered at a very fast pace because of the shortening of the semester because of covid but my friends from different colleges also tell that it is also very common in other colleges as well.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are quite well last year (2022) the highest package offered to a student of jec was 32LPA which was offered to a girl from the EC branch but I guess it was off-campus campus companies don't give such a high package but overall it is good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees in our college are very less if compared to any other engineering college it's only 23,000 per annum and if you compare it with any other college it's around 1/2 or 1/3 so it's quite affordable and also you get various scholarships so it becomes even more affordable like medhavi scholarship for general category and the state scholarship for reserved category (St SC obc).
Campus Life
Campus Life in our college is very good, the annual fest of our college is Aavahan which is an annual sports fest, classrooms are also good, there are many groups and societies in our college to name a few of them DanceOnJEC, LitC, JULG which is a Linux user group, automotive society and many more.
Admission
The admission process for our college is the same as any other engineering college like giving JEE, choice filling, etc, I don't remember exactly but the admission fee is around 3500/- and yes you also get reservation benefits as well and also if you have domicile of Madhya Pradesh then it is also somewhat beneficial for getting admission otherwise student from other states also get admission without any problem, in my class also majority students were from different states and even 2-3 of them are from Nepal as well.
