Remarks
The best part I like about our college is its campus which is green and Eco friendly. It has one of best libraries on campus. The management is well organized and helpful.
Entrance Preview
I was a 12th graduate when I chose to join this particular college as it is the most beautiful place one could get into. Getting into MCC is not an easy task. You need to be academically sound as well as have an all around development or interest in other activities as well like sports. They also encourage sports and clubs for various activities..
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed in a way where we are exposed to various global opportunities and taught in a very practical manner. We have presentations to keep us hooked on to the stuff we are learning and also to get a practical exposure on the same. The teachers are very friendly and guide you with every problem and help you understand in the best way possible.
Hostel Facilities
I personally didn't stay in the hostel, but I have heard from my friends that the quality of food was really good. And they were offered different kinds of meals on different days. So there was no repetition. It was also affordable for people who didn't stay at the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong with a lot of powerful people on the list. Seniors are very helpful and very friendly.
Exam Structure
We have three exams in total for a semester. Two exams consist of 30 marks each where the average is considered for the total marks. And the final semester exam for 50 marks. Apart from this we also have 15 marks for assignments and project which helps us to understand what we are doing as well.
Admission
First you need have written the 12th exam and cleared it with the cut off they prefer. Once that is done, you can collect the application form and apply. The selection is purely on merit basis and if you clear the cut off mark, you're selected. And after that, they have a personal interview where the get to know the student on a personal level.
Faculty
The faculty members were well educated, qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. They had industry experience and gave us real time examples to get the concepts clear, they ensured they took us for minimum of 4 industrial visits. They used to engage class while teaching through power point presentations, discussions. The course I was doing required industry exposure in manufacturing, service and non-profit organisation.
