Something to consider before taking any private college due to low rank.

I am from CSE branch and first year has chemistry, physics, maths, electronics, electrical, etc. To be honest course and faculty you find in BBDNIIT is like the one you find when one is his/her school days. This thing can be look both an advantage and a disadvantage. But i take it as an advantage, having a school environment makes me feel that i am able to concentrate more and able to reach my faculty members more freely . All the faculty are well known about thier subject and help whenever needed. For the disadvantage, well you have to sit and do classes and would be asked why when not attending classes as its just 40 students per class

Average placements are around 4-5 LPA. companies like TCS, Capgemini, HCL, Wipro, Accenture, etc. visit BBD. for placements all BBD students are taken into consideration. from 3rd year companies start offering placements

fee structure of BBDNIIT can be found on its main portal ie bbdniit..ac.in. It's about 1 lakh per annum and about 8k AKTU fees which are taken once per year for your semester exams. Fees for BBDNIIT seem pretty reasonable to me. Otherwise, u will find any other private college charging around 12 lacs with a hostel for 4 yrs. For scholarships, there is a separate department where one can apply and avail up to 50% of the scholarship provided that he/she satisfies the requirement for the scholarship.

The campus life of BBD is good as well. Babu Banarasi Das (BBD) has a big campus consisting of one university (BBD university), and other 3 colleges (BBDNIIT, BBDITM, BBDEC) affiliated with AKTU. We have college uniforms to wear except for the university. There is a stadium (Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Stadium), Auditorium, Nescafe, 2 separate canteens, a photocopy shop and a temple inside its campus. BBD also provides a bus facility for local students for 30k per month as well. In front of BBD one can find everything one can need .. there is Crown Mall (which has a cinema), and a complex with restaurants and shops for stationery and stuff. The infrastructure of BBDNIIT is again like a school. But it is well maintained and one can find all greenery around.

Admission process: Getting into BBDNIIT is quite easy. Most of the students apply for jee mains and its rank can be used to enter into AKTU counselling as this college is affiliated with AKTU, Lucknow. I took admission with AKTU counselling as well. It has criteria of 10+2 of more than 50% as well.
