It was morning college we had to face the heat while returning back from college
More sports activities should have been there

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it is the best course In commerce stream faculty to student ratio is 1:100 the faculty is well qualified though their teaching style is old school. Exams were very easy anybody can pass if they study enough.

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is you will have to pay for two semesters at once which is five thousand to five thousand five hundred per year. Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship is available and other concessions are also available.

Campus Life

There has been no annual fest or tech fest. The library is full of books and journals of different interests. Classrooms have ceiling fans no ac. You can play gully cricket, table tennis, carrom, chess and other games on campus.

Admission

You will have to score eighty percent in your board exams and then fill the online application form within the specified dates and wait for your name to pop up in the merit list and then you can get admission in ucc.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
