Best College to Study

Best college I have ever met. Sometimes feels over restriction but it should be there to regulate our fruitful life. College management always tries to be strict and good regulating our activities at the same time provide us freedom to explore as our wish.

I came to our college under merit quota secured 1140 marks in 12th HSC exam. I wish to study nearby to my home and expected good college in town. All my well wishers, friends, relatives and google searches navigates me to the best college in the Town named as SASTRA University,Thanjavur

I came to know that SASTRA University,Thanjavur is the best college for studying biotechnology in all over Tamil Nadu. On consulting with my senior, I started my mini project in 2nd year itself. On completion of my final Year I have published 1 papers on my field of research

Of course Yes, there are many offerings every year for Internship in our college, one of my friend who came for internship now getting up to 14000rs month as stipend

Around 50-60 companies came all over the year. in that 30 IT companies and 30 core companies will come around. placement training with apt i coaching everything will be provided by our college itself. Maximum paid offer in placement is 25 LPA/person (company name: Directi)

There were lots of events celebrated in our college - Kuruksastra, Samhitha, Daksh, ICUBE 2017, Hinges, CAPE, Carpedium, Progyam etc., conducted almost all over the Year. At least 1 events per month conducted by any of the department in our college. It will be very exciting and amazing

The fee structure Tuition fees: 55000 rs per semester Development fees: 10000 rs Other fee- 7000rs other than this Hostel fees: 6000rs/5-6people sharing, 8000rs/4 people sharing, 10000rs/3 people sharing, 12000rs/2 people sharing 14000rs/1 person sharing.

ofcourse yes, at the time of admission itself 4-5 bank would place tent providing loans for our students education taking care of Entire loan amount. Scholarship can be allocated for best students securing more than 85% marks.

Gender ratio will be 4:3( boys:girls) students were allowed for all the extra curricular activities and club activities, No ragging allowed if so immediately debar of studies happens. Labs for all departments were good and encouraging them to involve in mini project activities and guides them for their future well and advance.

of course yes, our alumni network connected through whats app, almost every year we met for cultural times and its been a great memories for us to be like get together with juniors peoples also. Any help required can be guided with help of seniors if possible.

The exams are conducted in 4 parts, 3 CIA(Common Internal Assessment) and 1 main exam where out of 3 CIA's 2 CIA marks average marks were calculated for internal upto 80% and 10% internal marks for attendance and 10% record note. Some Exams and labs very frequent leaving you with a hectic day and some Exams was chilled out.

The process of admission is similar to Anna University Admission process but because of Deemed university the Admission not carried by cut off mark but by Total mark in HSC exam and entrance examinations.

Our faculty's mindset were always cool and active. I expect them as role model sometimes, almost all over my college days I have good tempo with all my faculties. I wish i could be one among them in future. On my second year, mini project started with no idea of what i'm doing, with the help of my faculty only I got one view on my project.
