Likes
- Campus life is great, we play various sports like football, cricket, badminton almost everything(every sport).
- Placement is very good, average package in final placements was around 16.5 LPA.
- Food and accommodation is nice. Our mess provides us healthy and tasty food.
Dislikes
- Our new campus is under construction therefore we don't have a proper campus you can say.
- Mostly teachers are good but there are few faculty members who are not good at all.
- We are either in our hostel and or in our classes because our time gets wasted a lot in travelling.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very nice and all the faculty members are very hard working. The faculty members prepare slides and teach us from that slides which I feel is a very good way of teaching. You even get those slides from the faculty to revise and learn.
Internships Opportunities
Placecom of our college helps us get summer internship in various roles and fields(Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Analytics etc). From last few years we are seeing that IIM Amritsar is bringing companies majorly that provide roles in sales and marketing.
Placement Experience
We get campus placements, after completion of our first year our Placecom helps us get companies for our summer internship and in second year they bring companies for the final placements. Our placement is very good and average package was 16.5 LPA in final placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the total fees is 17.5 lakhs for 2 years in which academic fees, hostel fees, mess fees everything is included. We have a batch of around 270-300 students out of which 7-8 people get scholarship based on merit.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is fun, I really enjoy my time in campus of IIM Amritsar. Classrooms are also very nice. We play Football, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball almost every sport in our campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is also very good, we get a 2 BHK flat for 4 students from the college. Also food is very good that we get in mess. Our mess provides us 4 proper meals. Our college looks after all these things so you don't have to worry and make arrangements for food and accommodation.
Admission
I gave CAT 2021 and then got IIM calls and converted MBA(Business Analytics) of IIM Amritsar. When I got IIM calls, I had to give GD/PI of various IIMs. Since I was from Computer Science background so I took Business Analytics field of MBA.
Interview Experience
Firstly I gave CAT 2021 and got 80.37 percentile and cleared all the sectional cutoffs, after that I got calls from various IIMs and gave GD/PI of those IIMs. When results came out I got selected for the course MBA(Business Analytics) of IIM Amritsar.
