Course Curriculum Overview
The course Curriculum at IIM Raipur has been planned in a structured way. Though it's rigorous will help a student to learn and grow. Around. Faculty to student Ratio at IIM Raipur is really good. It's way better than even the Old IIMs for 660 students there are a total of 54 faculty which brings the faculty-to-student ratio around 1:12. All the faculties are PhD from renowned institutes and have a great academic background and research work. The teaching pedagogy of the faculties is really good to help students understand the concept better. Even the exams and quizzes are followed strictly as per the academic calendar and are on time.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Atlassian, Asian Paints, Accenture, and Diageo came to campus and offered roles in Marketing, Sales, strategy, and operations domains The projects were mostly on operational challenges or new product development.
Placement Experience
First year students as soon as they reach the college are guided in preparing their CVs. The summer placements start from September onwards and end in February. Similarly, the Final placements also start in mid-September and end by December. Companies like McKinsey, Atlassian, Accenture, GAIL, etc. come to the college for placements. The highest package for this year was 67 lacs and the average was 21 lacs. Profiles offered are mostly in Sales and Marketing profile, consulting, BFSI, FMCG/FMCD, Strategy, IT and ITES, etc. 100 percent placement was there for the passing batch. A total of 107 companies participated in the placement drive. Total of 287 offers were made for a batch of 255.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here at IIM Raipur are currently 16.5 lacs for the complete MBA. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students and also there are govt scholarships available for the students. Campus placements are good.
Campus Life
IIM Raipur has a great campus. There's a 24*7 hot water facility available, along with a good Wi-Fi connection. The library is 24*7 open. Also banking facility is available on the campus itself. There's a sports complex in which sports facilities like badminton, basketball, football ground, cricket ground, table tennis, Gym you name a sport and its presence on the campus. Also, there are various clubs and committees which are solely student-run and conduct various activities on campus to keep students engaged. Whether it be the fun game nights or cultural nights or be it Quizzes.
Admission
Admission in IIM Raipur is offered after one has appeared in the CAT examination which is held in November. Once the results are declared and the candidates who had opted for the college would be receiving a call from the college under the combined interview process known as CAP interview. The criteria for getting a call for CAP interviews are solely based on the CAT percentile score. For general candidates it is above the 92 percentile, for EWS its 70 percentile for NC-OBC its 74 percentile and SC ST students it's around the 50 percentile. Around 20000 candidates receive CAP calls and only around 2200 seats are there in the IIMs participating in the CAP process.
