All you need to know about IIM Amritsar.

This is the flagship MBA program of IIM Amritsar. I chose this course for career growth. there are around 35 permanent faculties for over 500 students. All the faculties are PhDs from renowned institutes. Term exams happen on time and within a very short period (8 exams in 4 days without any gap). Passing the exam is quite easy but scoring well is quite difficult due to relative grading.

100% placement every year. students eligible from the 4th trimester. Many students get pre-placement offers from their internship companies. Companies like Amazon, Adani, Dalmia, etc. visited campus, no. of offers made - The highest package was 25LPA, and the average package was 16.51LPA. Marketing and sales were the major domains. My plan after my MBA is to get a high-paying job.

Fees hike is around 10-15% every year. 16 L fees for 2022-24 batch + 1.75L mess fees. I've just completed 1st year and got an internship with a 70k stipend for 2 months of tenure, which I got placed on-campus.

Social life is awesome at the 2 hostels (Blessing City & Metropolis Tower), there is a lot of flexibility. Classrooms have all the necessary modern amenities like Smartboards, AC, etc. The library has all the required books, with access to many e-books and premium services for free through a college email ID. Sports events keep happening yearly like Kritansh and Section Wars. Social clubs like Sankalp (run by students) are doing a great job of conducting social activities regularly.

IIM Amritsar has its independent admission process as compared to other baby IIMs which get their admission process done through Common Admission Process (CAP). The eligibility Criteria is 60% marks throughout academics. CAT Eligibility is 85 percentile overall with sectional cutoffs of 80 %tile in Quants and 75%tile in both VARC and DILR. Application Form is available on the IIM Amritsar website from a few days after the CAT results declaration. Application Fees is Rs 1500.
