- The curriculum design that includes necessary subjects such as GST, Income tax, Business law & Digital marketing hat required in today's time
- The Infrastructure, College Canteen, Strict Discipline
Dislikes
- Poor management & faculty choice of the university starting from the Vice chancellor himself.
- Basic amenities like Sick room or medical room is not available for first aid
- Regular fees was taken in the name of Tally lab & Excel course but no classes were conducted in the computer lab. Moreove the professors for the assigned subject were either absent or used teach by drawing on board instead of conducting practical lab
Course Curriculum Overview
- I was confused after taking a 2-year drop & under parental pressure I grabbed the first degree that I saw. - Faculty-student ratio is very poor, most of the core classes are scheduled in online mode due to fewer number of faculties. - Some of the faculty members are experienced whereas most of them are new in the teaching line and have very less experience of teaching college students. - The teaching method of the teacher is old & orthodox - The exams were conducted after every month of lectures being held for 30 days maximum.
Internships Opportunities
- Very poor management in terms of providing good internships through college. - The training and placement cell is full of lazy sloth bear employees who get active 2-3 days before the placement & internships begin. - Students are offered only sales based inter ships that too without any stipend. - Moreover, students may asked to shift to another city for the time period of their internship.
Placement Experience
- Students become eligible for campus placement after they reach the 5th semester ( final year for BBA ). - Most of the companies that have visited for campus placement include startups & BPOs. Some notable mentions include - TVS, BYJUS, ADITYA BIRLA, GENPACT, ERNST & YOUNG, BAJAJ ALLIANZ, ICICI PRUDENTIAL & LOMBARD.
Fees and Financial Aid
- The fees for the course of BBA are acceptable considering the competition & the market charges. - Scholarships are available for those who belong to a differently-abled category, or whose parents are from the armed forces, For Kashmiri Migrants & for those who have passed out from Sarala Birla public School.
Campus Life
- No annual fest or tech fest was conducted between the year 2020-2023. Except for the Food mela. - Books are readily in the library. - Some of the newly constructed classrooms lack basic facilities like curtains & projector. - Sports events are organized from time to time for students.
Admission
- There was no entrance exam taken for admission. - The eligibility criteria were quite low compared to the standard of other universities. - 10+2 with a recognized board with a minimum of 40% marks in Science, Commerce, and Arts. - The application form is available on the university website & can be filled out starting from mid-March to April. - The admission criteria should be higher as compared to the current scenario where every other student is taken in.
