New Horizon college of engineering— Pros nd cons

I decided to this course as I was very interested in the topic of Data science and it is a new course added to many colleges I was very excited. The faculty members are really friendly and teach concepts very well. They give you notes and also make sure the concept is understood Three exams were conducted each month as internals and then the sem end exam.

I have seen several seniors go for internship from various companies like cap gemini, wells fargo and etc They offer different tasks and levels and also the training is given in proper amount for each student They make sure each one of us is placed

I heard from 5 sem students who become eligible for campus placements. There are so many different numbers of companies that have visited and made co-labs here. Almost every student gets placed in this college and also the location of this college influences a lot. It being around the It hub increases the chances of further I would want to be placed after the completion of my degree and while earning want to complete masters

The fee structure would fall into the average category considering all other college starting fees. It's really hard to get admission as they have a very high fee/hostel structure. I'm still doing my first year but I have heard several merits about them from seniors

Campus life is the most exciting one. Of course, every college has a different environment. There are many different clubs and activities all throughout the sem. Students take the initiative to create clubs and conduct several events The classrooms are also well equipped with one smart board and one chalkboard and comfortable seating The library also has many spaces for personal studies and is open 24/7 The annual fest is named Sargam and is called the biggest intercollege fest. There are different tech fests held every month and recently we had a hackathon

The hostel facilities are also really comfortable I heard most colleges have really bad food and compared to that the hostel food here is a blessing In the first sem, you share a room with 4 people including you and from the second year onwards you have a choice to go for 2 sharing or 3 sharing rooms. Even separate Ac rooms for people are required. The room has a study table for everyone and also a cupboard career.

There are merit-based seats and management-based seats. For merit you have to be in a certain rank and for management the time of admission decides the amount to be paid and the availability of seats Class 10 and class 12 marks should be upto to the minimum Btech requirements For an application form and more information, you can visit the college website where admission has started for the next batch
