- For choosing subjects in the second year there is a lot of problems that the student face. Not every student can get a course of their choice. The courses are given according to their academic performance in the first year.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose business analytics because I have a keen interest in the data form of information. I wanted to learn how to interpretate data to bring out outcomes from it. The total batch size of IIMAsr is 280+ students out of which 28 are doing a specialisation in Business analysis and 13 in Human Resource. The faculty is very approachable and very learned. There are many real life examples given by most of the faculty.
Placement Experience
As soon as the Admission in the college he becomes eligible for the campus placement. He has to make sure and abide by the rules and regulations of the new college to get proper placement. There are a number of companies that have visited the college campus and almost all the students receive offer letters. The highest-paid for the placement is around 25 lakhs and the average package is around 16 lakhs. Hundred percent of students get placed in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for I am Amritsar is a total of 16 lakhs for two years degree. A student who is one of the top seven performing students in academics can avail of a scholarship of Rs.8 lakhs. The average type given to a student during the internship is 60,000.
Campus Life
There is a vast number of committees and clubs in our college and the social life of the college is really great. The hostels of the students are really well furnished. A student can grab any opportunity that is available to him. there were a number of sports events that occur in the college. Throughout the year. The sports events Ar open to all the students and mostly all the students participate. In such events. The classrooms are well equipped and have every immunity that is required in a classroom. All the committees and clubs are mostly run by the student body itself.
Admission
The admission process starts from filling in the CAT form that come out around august every year. The CAT exam happens on the ladt sunday of November. For admission in IIMAmritsar you need to have a minimum of 80 percentile in the CAT exam. I had a score of 92percentile. An interview took place in the first week of February for me and the course started in june.
