- The overall infrastructure of campus is overwhelming, peaceful and green!! Surely provides a stress free time away from classes.
- The staff here, although a little less knowledgeable is always ready to help with all they have and and are very considerate towards child growth.

Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course to pursue my career in Hotel Management. The available staff is more than adequate for the number of students in the university. Teaching methods are traditional, with very rare use of smart classes or presentations, to conclude I would say that teachers are old school, and definitely should update their teaching methods. The difficulty of exams totally depends on students' capacity and capabilities of studying the subjects in depth, apart from what is being taught in classes.
Internships Opportunities
Me currently pursuing BBA HM, the department has contacts with many nationwide chains of luxury hotels and does allow us to intern with them. My internship has led me to successfully gain knowledge and achieve the objectives of hotel management, credits to the department
Fees and Financial Aid
Prices are stagnant for a long period of time, and the cost to study is comparatively high compared to the knowledge and teachings being offered. Currently, they are not running any scholarship programs or any financial assistance.
Campus Life
Every department has its own yearly fests and our department has one too, ie: Rang Sutra There is a huge centralized library well equipped with air conditioning systems and provides every book a student might need. Other than that, most of the departments have their own libraries too. The University of Jammu is well known for sports and extracurricular activities, there is an amazing setup for most of the sports and games such as boxing, taekwondo, powerlifting, gymnasium, athletics, cricket, basketball and much more.
Admission
Usually the eligibility criteria for the course is entrance examination conducted by University of Jammu, but during my addmission, due to covid, admissions were being granted on a merit basis of 12th grade. All the details regarding to the admission process are available on the official website of University of jammu. I would definitely like the staff to be more precise and punctual about their teachings, professors often take their subjects lightly and miss out on basic details and knowledge which in future may lead to a lot of problems to students.
