Remarks

Reva is supposed to be a good college don't spoil it for the greed of money. Good education makes the college good not infrastructure.

Entrance Preview

My entrance exam was CET. I had a rank of 29k. This college was better than the remaining colleges in that category and reva has a wonderful campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

We don't study any new things the syllabus is old and outdated. Don't even talk about research the teachers are unable to teach what's there in the textbook. Every semester some 1 or 2 subjects are interesting otherwise the subject is of no use to computer science grads or it is outdated.

Internships Opportunities

We talk only about placements and marks no internships actually we don't even have time for internships. We had 10 days holidays after the semester end exams. There was not enough time to even to find an internship.

Placement Experience

2

As this is a tier 3 college it's good for it. If you are seriously talented you should be placed. Number of companies visiting is very less. Opportunity is equal for everyone if you have 60% aggregate you can sit for the interview or else you can sit in the class.

College Events

3.5

There are Branch-wise fest for every branch. The main Techno-Cultural fest of the college is Revamp this is the biggest fest of the college which goes on for 3 days. There is also Reva Athletics meet where all students across Bangalore from other Reva colleges participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When you come from a merit quota your fee should be cheap. But the management quota fees differs from person to person and it is expensive. As I'm from CET the college fees is feasible but for people coming from other states or Reva entrance exam the fees is expensive. My college fees is 52k which is feasible. My friend who is from management quota has a fees of 1.5L

Fees and Financial Aid

College does not provide any scholarships for students. College provides loan from other firm or atleast help in getting a loan.

Campus Life

3.5

As we have Co-ed there are no gender ratios. People from other states, countries study together as friends so there is no discrimination regarding race, color, gender, etc. Now coming to extracurricular activities we have sports meets and it is a huge success as students show there talent in sports apart from academics.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms are quite spacious and have attached toilet and bathroom for every room. The hostel fees is a bit high compared to outside PG's. The hostel fees for a 3-sharing room is around 1lakh, whereas in a PG it is around 5k/month which obviously is lesser than the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

College maintains a opt alumni network. There are alumni meets once a year. Senior students are very helpful regarding anything.

Exam Structure

VTU provides a chilled schedule until you don't have any backlogs. If you have backlogs your life is going to experience a pressure more than that of the pressure cooker. We don't have proper time for internships after exams, 10 days are not enough for doing any internship they should think about it.

Admission

After my board exams I took a entrance exam called CET. I had a 29 k which made me land up In Reva.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty are punctual. They maintain a proper routine and curriculum to teach the syllabus. Faculties need to have more knowledge than students. The topics which they teach are studied one day before by them. If anything else is asked everything goes out of the world.
