Course Curriculum Overview
I am a student in artificial intelligence and data science course. This course is having huge opportunities throughout the country. Also, this course is paying a good amount to the freshers in the colleges where there are students in this course are graduated. In my college, I am in the second batch of this course. The exams are quite difficult but the time given to students is enough to prepare.
Internships Opportunities
India Today, jio, TCS, Wipro, L and T, etc are the companies that offer a stipend. Also, I don't know much as I'm writing this review in my first year of college. But there are many more companies like teaching allowance in coding ninjas etc.
Placement Experience
In the final year of your graduation, you will be allowed to sit for placements on campus. The highest package was 52.5 LPA in the year 2021 on campus. On the other hand, off-campus, one student got 1.23 cr in India. The average package in technical branches is around 5.5 LPA. If you making up your mind about GATE then this college is superb. This year the placement rate is also good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the general category is 26 thousand. Also if you are allowed in hostels the hostel fee is 2800. If you stay in pgs it will cost you around 35000 a year. If you are getting and reservation quota then the fees will be taken from the scholarship. Also, various scholarships are given to the students. Many companies are coming at the time of placements like Wipro, TCS etc.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is enjoyable. There are various clubs in the college for different zones. The social groups are also present on social media with the name of jec. The sports facilities are also better than the other college's comparison.
Hostel Facilities
In college hostel you will be getting a room with 2 beds 1 fan and two almirah in the first year the room will be shared with 1 more student. From 2nd year you will be allotted seperate room. The fees for hostel is 2800 for a year. The registration process is simple for hostel. After admission you have to fill form in hostel department. The meal in hostel is good and have quality. Also you can start tiffin services from outside. There are many good tiffin services in the locality.
Admission
The eligibility for admission to Jabalpur engineering college is jee mains exam. Your cutoff should be between 50k to 90k in admission in technical branches like artificial intelligence and data science or computer science. The admission procedure is taken by the MPDTE counselling which is done before the josaa counselling. The reservation benefits are given in the college. Also, the hostels are good enough to stay and study purposes.
