Good to join if you want enjoyment besides with knowledge

Sometimes they will allot CSE faculty for ECE core subject and vice versa even though they don't have any knowledge on them which is very bad from their side. And please don't join hostel in GITAM. They will treat us very cheap hostel management.

GAT which is conducted by GITAM itself. I chose ECE because I liked embedded systems

In 1st year it was pretty much like Intermediate courses with advanced topics. From 2nd year on wards main core starts. Till 3rd year there won't be electives except in final year considering the batch from 2012 to 2016. More theoretical than practical. If you are interested in ECE with full awareness then take this branch otherwise you will feel difficult

They will do their part and keep efforts to bring placements but ultimately you are the one who has to crack interview and get the job. During my batch we got a lot of placements where TCS took 700 people and Accenture 170 etc, Mu sigma, Amazon, Wipro etc many companies came for recruitment

Fests will be conducted by every branch and every one is allowed to participate in them. Other than Branch fests there are other functions celebrated by organisations such as GUSAC. You will find 100% enjoyment if you are going to join GITAM

Very expensive and not economical. I paid a total of 12 lakhs including hostel and tuition fee for 4 years. Now it will be even more cant imagine. Hostel food won't be good

Scholarship of 10000 rupees is provided every year for top 5% students in their GPA of that semester.

As I told you will get lot of opportunities in sports, debates during fest. There is no discrimination between girls and boys. In fests they will keep workshops on various technologies like Robot, Vlsi, embedded systems, android etc

Hostel food is not at all good for the price we pay and full of Bed bugs. I struggled a lot for 2 yrs. I could change hostel but they will take caution fee of 50000 in advance where 10000 is refundable. Even if you go in middle they wont refund the full amount so had to be in same hostel.

It depends on us how interactive with others. Seniors will help us and there is no doubt in that. But ragging here is strictly prohibited. But you will find more interaction with ragging.

You will have 3 mids out of which best of 2 are taken for 30 marks and 10 marks from weekly assessments . Remaining 60 marks are from semesters. You will have practicals too. Final marks will be in GPA and CGPA grade point system.

I wrote GAT. Forms were distributed to us by our Inter college Sri Chaitanya junior college. It is Online Examination with objective questions which very easy to crack.

Not upto the mark as expected. Only 2 out 6 are good at knowledge and teaching wise. However they will help us if we have doubts and friendly.
