Course Curriculum Overview
It was more fun than studies. we used to bunk our classes, call proxy for our attendance and even pass comments on our teachers as well. whenever I think about my uni days I got nostalgic. Course was as per the UGC guidelines and around 32 subjects during three years
Internships Opportunities
No internship was provided in our Department however there was some other department where internship was given. Regarding Stipend I don't have any knowledge whether it was given or not or the internship was just voluntarily.
Placement Experience
Only Engineering Student get placement rest other have to travel to metro cities for placement. Our department has never tried to call any company for placement and having placement in India is quite difficult as the companies don't want to hire fresher as the quality of student is not good enough that they should be hired. Moreover there are limited Jobs and abundance of people who want job so the companies visiting campus for b-com student no chance.
Exam Structure
There were total 10 question in the examination where you have to write answer for 5, every question have one added question, you can answer any one of them. Total question weigh 100 marks and 33 was the passing percentage. Exams happened yearly and there were three session exams out of which best was chosen and added to your exam marks.
Admission
Admission process at AMU is very lengthy you have to visit several office to get you the enrollment number. We have to shuttle between different offices and the offices were quite far away from each one and it took our whole day from morning to evening to complete the whole procedure.
Faculty
Faculty was mixture of good, bad and average, some of the faculty was really good they were the expert in there subject and some teachers were very boring they don't have the knowledge as well they can't handle the big classes as well. But it was 360 degree learning from all across.
