The admission for BBA was purely based on 12th standard results. VIT University's Business school in the top 5 lists of colleges for BBA. I scored 87% which allowed me to get a rank of 267 amongst 1000 people. This rank easily got me a seat in the college.

The course is brilliantly prepared to make sure the students are market-ready managers. The course included various core and elective subjects that give us a holistic view of various sectors of the industry. We have been offered electives like Banking and Insurance, Principles of Auditing, Consumer Behavior, Psychology, Marketing Metrics, and Principles of entrepreneurship. You can write research papers under any faculty you like.

No, the university doesn't provide internships but we have been regularly updated about possible opportunities through various clubs and chapters. Completing two internships in the Service and Manufacturing industry is vital to obtain the degree.

The companies usually come and recruit engineers but in the last semester companies also come for managers. They usually present a package of 2 Lakhs to 6 Lakhs based on the candidate's CGPA or experience. The companies which usually come are Banks, Companies with management needs, etc.

The college has fests on a national scale. We have two fests out of which one 'graVITas' is a technological fest and 'Riviera' being the cultural fest. We get sponsorship from various MNC's and we invited various prominent celebrities for their pro shows and concerts.

The fees structure for the BBA course especially is fairly feasible. Our annual fees are around 40000-50000 per annum. However, hostel and mess fees can be a little expensive according to the room sharing you choose and the caterers you take. If you opt for the non-veg mess, the mess will charge you higher than the vegetarians.

We have been provided with a provisional letter that enables us to take a loan at the starting of the course. The scholarship is usually given to local people with amazing academic performance or people who cannot afford the education are called star students whose fees and hostel fees are waived off

The campus is live is dreamy where after your classes you get to hang out with your friends who are from various states, cities, and even countries. For extracurricular, we have clubs and chapters, every sports team, and something new every day. Clubs are ranging from literary clubs to debates to literary clubs. The gender ratio can be lopsided with girls being a little less than the boys in the campus. We have classmates from Dubai, South America, France, Germany, and Various other gulf countries.

University provides hostel facilities and we have 13 men's hostel and 6 ladies' hostel buildings. With the hostel facility comes the mess option which is not an option, though. The hostel is given based on merit rank in your university. The higher your rank in the college, the more the chance of getting an AC and less sharing room. We have options to choose from 6,4,2 and 1 sharing for both girls and boys. The hostel rooms are clean and pretty hygienic to survive compared to other colleges.

The university and our business school holds an Alumni meet every year where our seniors ranging from people who are working in the best firms to people still pursuing their studies in prestigious colleges come together and share their experience with us and tell us about how they were eased into the process of being a good manager and good citizen

We have a semester of 5 months. During that, we have 3 quizzes of 5 marks each, 2 Continuous assessment tests for 15 marks each, and 5 marks for assessment which sums up at 50 marks for internal. Rest 50 marks are externals and called Term ends. This all is evenly spread in 5 months to make it less hectic for students but it doesn't end up being never hectic.

The form for applying to the college is opened every year around March and closes soon after the 12th standard results are announced. All the details can be easily procured at VIT university's website. The admission process is quite simple for BBA. After filling the form, we have been intimated about a rank and date for counseling. Counseling is nothing but sitting through the process till your rank comes and you choose a branch course. Then you are a guide to fees structure and hostel details

Every Faculty has a specialized degree in whatever course they are offering and teaching the students. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. or pursuing their research. The faculties are also assessed and trained about all the new technology used in the classroom.
