I wrote AIEEE (at that time JEE and AIEEE worked separately). I prepared for JEE at kota but could not make in IIT, so I chose for NIT/IIIT. I dropped and gave JEE and AIEEE in 2011, Cleared JEE (didn't make IIT), and got rank 18018 in AIEEE. I chose for branch over college. I wanted either of mechanicak, civil or electrical. I got this college in 3rd round and since, it was my choice of branch, I locked it. Other than Mechanival engineering, this college offers CSE and ECE.

Many companies came for Internships mostly CSE. Mechanical and electronics guys were more into research including myself, so many students (not of CSE) go for Btech projects in research. Each CSE guy on an average had a stipend of 10-15000.

Clearly, CSE placement was 100% but such is not the scene for other branches. Poor no of placements in ME or ECE. many of them went to IT companies, but yes, many of them are pursuing for higher studies at various IITs and Foreign institutions.

Tech Fest: ABHIKALPAN (5000-7000 foots, 3 day and nights events)Sports Fest: GUSTO (1000 foots everyday, 3 day and nights events)CultFEST : TARANG (Central india's biggest fest, 10, 000 foots each day, 4 nights and 3 days events). Apart from there are regular intra college fests.

Best thing is IIITDM JABALPUR is centar l govt institute. Uniform fees per sem for four years. At present the fees is around 44, 500 per semester (including hostel, academic, mess and everything one can think of. ) payable every sem, and this will remain same until a student passes out, no increase in fees.

Various scholarships were there on merit basis and being a govt. college, it had many ones for SCs and STs too. But college did not provide for loan, student has to manage it on its own, but collge has a special bank branch (allahabad bank) where the student can avail the loan facility.

Hostel facilities, rate 4. 5 out of 5, it was best. cleaned everyday, 4 hostels, each having its own management with faculties as wardens. Shared 3 per room (1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year)and single room in 4th year. As i have mentioned earlier, no extr

Rich alumni network but college has just completed 10 years this year so still finds some lack of betterment in contacting alumini. No meeting for alumni have been arranged so far, there were failed attempts manier times.

It was hectic on some days and chilled out on some days of the week. Quizzes, Mid Sem Exams, Lab Evaluations, End sem Exams. Quizzes and Lab exam were designe properly so that each student can give 100%.

Faculty was up to the mark, well qualified, trained, the best feature is all were PHDs from reputed IITs or foreign universities. IIT Kanpur was mother college of our college, so we had the opportunity to be taught by great faculties.
