College that proves backbone for students career.

Except for the mess development, there are no negative comments or suggestion about the college. A student passed from this institute never fails in life and there is no look back for him in his career, a one stop solution for the students.

The admission I got into this college was based on my ssc results, it was a tough task to get an admission to this college, but having scored well I finally ended up in the college.

The college has got very good laboratories and staff, all the faculty is well versed with his or her field, the students are properly shown and made to perform the practicals, meeting the day to day life, with all the recent tools and equipment updates on the daily basis the college becomes a sound place for a student to learn.

Actually college, currently does not provide any internship programs, but I definitely believe the college will look upon this matter and in near future we will see internship programs being held at the institute.

Having very bright and qualified students, many placement companies came to our college this year, around 72 students from various branch got placement from the campus itself, and various other decided for further studies, the companies coming were less known as there are very few big companies available around in saurashtra, but few of the big companies in the list were Jyothi CNC, Rajoo Engineering and various such companies.

There are various small and big events celebrated in our college throughout the year, smaller one being in the college itself for the students of various departments and the major one being a technical event, last years technical event was named as technohunt in which 3 zones from saurashtra were primarily targeted for the audience, in return we got a very good response from the other students as well as from the other sponsors, with a target audience of around 5000 per day the event was a major hit, which lasted for 3 days, and on the third day prize ceremony was held by our sponsors.

Being a government institute, the fee structure is very affordable, the education for girl being free, where as for boys a fee structure of 2000 a year, The fees are just a token amount, it is almost free, any student could afford the fee and in return they are being provided a very good environment.

Being a government institute the fee structures for both studying and hostel is nearly free, but there are still special type of scholarships offered to the needy students by the government, and college sees to it that the deserving student gets the scholarship, the scholarship is directly credited in the bank accounts of the students by the government, However wants scholarship can feel in the form for the scholarship if he or she matches the right criteria.

Words would be less to describe life in college, there are various extra curricular activities that takes place in college through out the year, debate, group discussions, drawing competition, quiz, one minute games, poster presentation and many more events take place at regular intervals. Sports is also equally looked upon in college, many inter college cricket tournaments have been organized so far. Extra curricular goes hand in hand with the studies in the college. Various motivational seminars are held in college to develop student. Thus college provides a mix balance of studies and sports together needed by the student.

The hostel facility for the boys and girls is excellent, all the day to day requirements of the students are properly looked upon and cleanliness is emphasized, thus the students are provided a very hygienic environment to live and study in. Wardens of the hostel look properly and personally behind every individual student and monitor there work, at present there is exactly no mess available for the students, tiffin services are arranged by the students for themselves, thoughts of building a world class mess is already considered, and would be available soon I guess.

The alumni network and the students are always ready to help college whenever needed, in January this year a great get together by the alumni was arranged for the ex students, which was a great hit, nearly 3000 people including the students and their family turned up for the function. Thus the alumni and senior students prove to be a backbone of the college.

The exams were conducted according to the GTU standards, all the guidelines and dates of the GTU were followed, where as the mid semester exams were conducted by the college itself, after every exam students were given a days rest, as to revise and provide relaxation before the next exam. College Examinations dates were actually decided, taking student in consideration. As to ease there stress and burden.

The admission process started buy initially buying a pin number for online registration, after which I gave my preferences for choice feeling of colleges across Gujarat, AVPTI being my first preference. After choice feeling result was announced I luckily got a seat in the college, after which all the document verification and all procedure started, after satisfying all that I paid my fees, and completed my admission up in the college.

All the faculty posted here are highly qualified, they all have been specially trained to meet the students need, they always guide the students and motivate them when and wherever needed, having such a experienced faculty really helps the student in getting a proper understanding about the subject, which could clearly be seen in high examination scores of the student.
