Course Curriculum Overview

B.tech Petroleum engineering is a rare course and opportunities are plenty in North India and abroad . Petroleum jobs are lucrative job. Many central and state govt companies are there where demand for Petroleum engineers exists. Our interest is what matters in excelling in this field.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are compulsory and many companies like CPCL, TAGROS, etc are arranged for internship. Currently, they don't offer a stipend in India. These internships help us in getting an idea of the field we work in the near future. We do get industrial contacts which help us in moving further.

Placement Experience

From the 8th semester, placement becomes active and students are eligible. CTS, wabco are some of the top companies that enter into Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering. The average package will be around 300000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is around 150000 on an average. Hostel accommodation would cost a little bit more. When we come to the third or fourth year placement fees may be applicable based on the course offered. Scholarships options are available for SC ST MBC first graduate, etc.

Campus Life

Inspironz is the name of the tech fest we conduct every year. In recent times celebrities from South Indian movies, tv channels have come and the event was awesome. Mostly we organize in the month of Jan, Feb at the start of the even semester. We have many clubs like great mastermind, Digi innovator, etc where technological exposure would be helpful for our external participations.

Admission

Maths, physics and chemistry is must to be eligible for engineering as per Anna University norms. Application can be done either through Anna University counseling or through management quota. Reservation benefits for SC ST, MBC, first graduate, and other sponsorship are available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
