The college infrastructure is very good academics are good Faculty is good Extracurricular activities are good The bad things are The Orthodox rules No mobiles allowed in the campus No friendly interactions between the opposite genders

I was an ambitous student in my plus 2 course . I dreamt of studying at many prestigious institutions I secured 101 marks in jee main examination I even secured 98 marks in my Ap Eamcet exam I got 108 rank in srmjee but my parents did not wish to join me over there so i joined in Sree Vidyankethan Engineering college which is very renowned college in my state

The curriculum over here is decent Our college is an autonomous college The syllabus is better in our college when compared to the local universities and there affiliated colleges Rules over here are very strict The college s good in terms of knowledge but lags back in terms of practial learning as in many colleges IT gets many companies offering jobs but giant mncs like google amazon etc dont come here . Thats another Drawback

The college does provide internships but they are not good companies IN this factor the college lies very back in competition There is nthing much to tell about this topic

The placements and job opportunities are good in fact better when compared to the local colleges But big companies dont visit much THe companies that visit are Wipro, Tcs, CTS , Capgemini, Accenture,etc They offer an average package of 3.6 lacks per anum

Our college is known for fests Our college has a fest named MOHANA MAnTRa which is the number one fest in ANdhra pradesh And 2nd largest in South INdia IT consists of all TEchnical , Cultural, and all sorts of events in 2k16 around 1400 students were behind the fest and it gained a net profit of around 14 lacks

The Fee structure n college is set by the govt For our batch the tuition fee is 1.12 lacks per anum For a common man it is expensive And it is even higher When compared to the local colleges But the Fee is worth paying As the college provides many Facilities

Our college runs a trust named Sree vidyanikethan educational trust It offers many poor students loans and scholarships and sometimes free education. I dont avail any kind of scholarships or loans But some of classmates do I dont even know the procedure to avail those

The campus life is OK the gender ratio is like 6 male and 4 female out of 10 Our college encourages all kind of extracurricular activities labs sports competitions robotics and all The only Problem is the male and female interaction is very less The college is orthodox in this area They say that two opposite genders roaming together is a sin

The college hostels are very good and well maintained But the Hostel fee is pretty high THe Maintenance is very good The food over here is decent And awesome when compared to the other colleges The hostel lacks much facilities IT is only limited to accommodation

I did not interact much with the alumni but I did with some of my seniors They are very warm welcoming and encouraging The seniors are very friendly There is no ragging and stuff in the campus

The Exam structure is pretty common There are two internals and one external for every semester The semester score is given by (70% external + 30% internal(75%of the highest internal and the rest from other)) internals are conducted for every 2 months

I got admission in Sree vidyanikethan Engineering College based on Eamcet score There was no special interview Generally it is done based on the Ap Eamcet It is one of the top engineering colleges in andhra pradesh It has a very good atmosphere The main reason preferring this college is the placement percentage it has a very good placement percentage and many renowned companies come over here

The faculty of our college is very interactive They are very good in terms of subject knowledge Most of the faculty are phd holders They are a bit orthodox but that's negligible Even they abide by rules that's a bit irritating Overall th faculty is good and they do their best on their part
