Course Curriculum Overview
My course is CSE. I simply closed this field as the favourability for this course has increased and all the companies were looking for this course graduates. There are 120 students in the course per year and 3 faculty members per subject. All faculty have completed their masters in their subjects and the senior faculties have doctorates in the courses. The exams were held accordingly to the tentative schedule. To pass was easy compared to many private and government colleges.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers no internship opportunities. One can get an internship solely based on their own capabilities and skills. We have to learn new skills on our own and had to apply for internships by doing our own research.
Placement Experience
The placement is quite bad here. Only 30% of the total students get placed here mainly in IT sector branches with an average of 4 lakh per annum. The students mostly plan for clearing the gate examination or any government exam. We get ample time for the preparation of these exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is approx 25000 per year which is divided into 14000 and 11000 over 2 semesters. The fees remain the same over the years. Hostel fees are 3000 per year. For scholarship, one can opt for medhavi who have more than 70 % in the state board and 85 % in CBSE. For those who don't qualify above criteria can opt for the MPTASS scholarship which also gives full tuition fees to the student. As for the job I received 4 Lakh package on campus.
Campus Life
There's just one fest held annual sports fest named avahaan. This is held for 5 days in the month of April. You can get all publisher's books in the library and can also issue them for a period of 1 semester. The classroom infrastructure is old with broken cameras. But all fans are in working condition and a good Projector which is used frequently for teaching purposes. The ventilation of the classroom is very good.
Admission
The admission was based on the ranking of Jee main exam. The admission process was mostly smooth. We were asked to make 5 sets of documents photocopy, 3 of which would be used then and the other 2 would be later used for scholarship purposes. The form would be made available there. Domicile reservation had a huge advantage by at least 3 percentile and caste reservations were very helpful. The only improvement we would like would be the photocopy shop to be inside the college as we would have to frequently visit it.
