Remarks
The management of the college is very good they manage according to the preference and time keeping of the students.
Entrance Preview
The entrance exams i took were CMAT, SNAP and also MAH CET. I scored average on all the exams and I got selected for a number of colleges, however the reason I opted for VNSGU is because it was closer to home and also it was in the top ten colleges of Gujarat.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very well planned and it was arranged so that we would be studying a lot of relevant issues in the business filed as of today. Also the projects involved carrying out a lot of in depth research on various matters which was enjoyably interesting and very knowledgeable.
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college does provide placements. The general stipend ranges from 2 - 4 lac per annum. We are getting a lot of well known establishments coming to our college looking for trainees.
Placement Experience
As I am studying MBA many banks and various firms have come to our college looking to employ students. Banks such as HDFC, Kotak etc have come and recruited finance specialists. Most of our batch of around 75% of the students have been recruited. Packages involved amounts ranging from two to four lac pa.
College Events
Almost all festivals and occasions were celebrated in my college such as Diwali, Navrati, Christmas, etc. Majority of the students took part in these festivals and they were celebrated with much enthusiasm and energy. Festivals were carried out on a fairly large scale as the college has really big grounds for all the music and decoration.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was feasible for the first three semesters however there was quite a high rise of fees for the last semester, which is quite disappointing and unfair. The fees were raised around a good 20-30 % for the final semester and most people had quite a bit of difficulty in completing the fee payment on time.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm not very aware in regards to any scholarship as the admission process was fairly easy for me. I think scholarships are provided to lower caste members such as SC/ ST.
Campus Life
In regards to gender ration there are more boys than girls in my batch, however there is equality and very good rapor between the students. As we are situated in Gujarat there was a lot of diversity and students came from all over India, debates proved to e very fun and exhilarating as all members were involved thoroughly.
Hostel Facilities
As I did not reside at the hostel facilities I wouldn't know a great deal however my friends reckon food and accommodation are fairly average. Most students in my class lived at home and traveled to the college daily. The food in particular provided in the canteen is surprisingly nice and of good quality, most of our free time was spent enjoying snacks.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students were very helpful when it came to completing projects as they would pass on their valuable advice.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was organised fairly well, most exams were held in the morning and thus we would have all afternoon and the rest of the day to practice and revise for the next day subject. So it was a good experience and did not cause any hectic or stressful days.
Admission
Once the relevant exam had been given and I had scored fairly well the admission list was released and I was provided with a few options and I chose VNSGU. After that I went to the college itself and carried out the necessary formalities like filing in the forms fee payment etc. Most of it was very straight forward.
Faculty
This is a matter in which I am proud to say that I was taught by the vert best as all of the members of staff had many years of experience and they were highly qualified in their particular areas of training, Thus the quality of teaching that was received was amazing.
