JNTUH UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING SULTANPUR 2023 REVIEW

I really wasn't able to distinguish the courses while joining the graduate and later on I decided to join the IT sector to build my career. The faculty is very good and well professional but the drawback is they are contract based. And the TPO office is very well organized with a 15 years experience officer. More faculty are of minimum 5+ years of experience and so the exams conducted by the university will be very easy to pass with a good score. Actually, the pass rate of each faculty is almost 98%.

They provide zero internships although you can apply from out of the campus. The projects done by students are well authorised and screened and then the project of the student is published. There are two projects to be done at the college level 1. Minor project - Is done in the presence of our lecturers only 2. Major project - is done in the presence of an outsider sent by the JNTUH Hyderabad. There will be marks for the two projects which are then included at the end of the semester. The marks are for the seminar given by the students and the project done by them.

We have well organized Traning and Placement Office with a 15yrs experience office but as of government college the officer tries a lot to bring placements to his students sometimes he succeeded. Many companies visited our college such as Medha Servos, CBP etc The highest package as of now from the college is 12LPA and the average package is 4.5LPA Most likely 55% of the students got placed in campus placements. My plan is to jump into a private institute where I can get a job by getting some knowledge from us.

As for government universities, the fee structure is different for different people based on caste and income. While I was joining the university my fee was 18000 per year and now for the joiners, the fee is 55000. This hike is not worth it because the university doesn't provide placements for students. There are many scholarships available for the students: 1. Pragathi scholarship for women (around 50000). 2. National Merit Scholarship for merit students. 3. TSEpass for low-income and backward caste students. It's very difficult to get a job for the graduates from this university because of the lack of knowledge they provide.

The campus is full of neat and clean at the time of joining. The campus is very eco-friendly and fully survelienced with cameras and security guards are present at every corner of the wall. Illegal activities are prohibited such as Ragging, Teasing, Fighting, and Alcohol are not allowed on the premises campus. Boys are not allowed to go to girls' hostels and vice versa. The campus consists of a peaceful library with magazines and many materials and also systems to explore the world. There is wifi on the university premises. Yes, the fest is organised by the students every year which includes many technical activities and non-technical activities and also cultural activities. The classrooms are huge and very neat. The capacity of each classroom is around 100 members.

Hostel doesnt consist any WIFI and the food taste not so good and the cleaning process is done every 2 times a week. In the Morning, breakfast is provided from 7-9 am such as Idly, Dosa, Wada, Puri, Bonda, Chapathi and Pulihora. Lunch starts from 1-2:30pm which includes Rice Samber, Curry, Curd, Papad, chicken curry, egg, fries, etc. Dinner starts from 8 to 10pm wich includes fried rice, rytha, samber, curry, chutney.

The campus around is very eco-friendly and there exists a footpath to walk in busy hours. There are many facilities in the college such as separate Hostels for men & women, a library for students and lecturers, Laboratories according to the students' branch, a canteen with all stuff needed by the engineers, a stationary, a sports complex where every sport can be played which includes indoor and outdoor, Play Grounds for every outdoor activity, a gym for health fitness and there exists purified mineral water at each section mentioned. The courses they provide for Btech. are Computer Sciences, Electronics and Communications, Civil, Mechanical, and Computer Science in Data Science. The College fees are refundable for OBC, SC, and ST. Approximately another 5000 is provided for hostel fees as a scholarship. Security is too much strict. Coming to the improvement, they have to remove the garbage in the girl's room
