Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course as I believed it was a superior course among others. 6 to 7 faculties take classes per dept. The faculties were highly qualified and teaching of most of them were dedicated and passionate. 3 Term exams were held for each semester. The pass percentage for the B com honors dept is 50%. These exams really helped in equipping for semesters. The difficulty level was moderate (5.5 out of 10).

Internships Opportunities

4

KRT and Company, Yashwanth Pesala, and Associates are dome companies that offered internships through campus. No stipend was provided but the internship program was knowledgeable. The final semester included Project for which a guide was allotted to each student who helped in preparing the project all along.

Placement Experience

3

At the end of the 4th semester (in the case of 3 year course) students are eligible for placements. Some of the companies visited include Mr.Cooper, HCL, TCS, Accenture, Sitel, Wipro, etc. And some companies also include BPOs 100% placements are guaranteed. The average package is 3 Lakhs p.a and the highest package is around 7.5 lakhs. After getting my degree Im planning to do PG.

Fees and Financial Aid

The opportunities and knowledge acquired topped the cost of study. Many and 100% scholarships / Financial assistance were offered to eligible students. I did not opt for placements, so I did not get a job. 3 internships were offered by the college though not with a stipend. But they were extremely useful.

Campus Life

4.5

Various clubs were offered. Smrti is an annual inter-collegiate fest conducted in the month of February, Diva is an intra-collegiate fest conducted at the end of the odd semester. Almost every books and journal are available in the college library. This college has one of the most vast libraries I've seen. Coaching for almost various sports are given; Extra curricular activities such as Silambam, beautician courses, languages have been offered with an afforable fee. Vaishnav centre for innovation, incubation and entrepreneurship development (also a website); ED cell; Rotaract club; NSS etc. are some of the clubs. Social groups being Union.

Admission

The admission process was easy. I joined during covid time, I had to visit the college only once and all the protocols were strictly followed. The eligibility of the course can be checked on the college website. Application forms, fees, and dates can be found on the College's official website. No reservation benefits were availed. The admission process as it is is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
