Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in Economics, and also hopeful for future job prospects in the field. The faculty was good and qualified, bringing a lot of experience to the classroom. permanent faculty were doctorate, but ad-hoc teachers were inducted on Master also. Exams were strictly on schedule, and the difficulty level is moderate to clear, but to score well, one required extra effort.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it's a Central Government funded university, fees are comparably very minimal. I don't have the idea of scholarships, and financial assistance available to financially weaker students. The department assists in bringing well-reputed organizations for interviews, and many students secure on-campus placement, but most of the students are able to secure good jobs, outside campus.
Campus Life
My department annually conducts a fest named "EcoCracy" the library is well equipped and all the books required are available in the library, and also enough space in the reading halls. The University has a separate sports complex and cricket ground. I am not aware of other departments, but at my time, no website, or clubs were run by students of my department.
Admission
Bachelors with 55%, with Economics as a mandatory subject, but it changes, so keep a tab on the eligibility. details are issued at the time of admission process starts. Forms are available online, can easily fill in the details and submit them with some fees. Yes,50% of seats are reserved for Muslim minorities. The process is smooth and wouldn't recommend any changes at the moment.
