Course Curriculum Overview
I opt for the Mechanical Engineering course where the faculty: student ratio is approximately 1:15, where faculties are well qualified and there was 2 mid-term examination and 1 end-term examination for every semester.
Internships Opportunities
There are quite a number of companies/startups visited for providing internships, and also they provide a good stipend to the students. Companies like Persistent and Arcadia provide a good amount of internships in the field of software development.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. More than 100 companies visited every year on the college campus. Talking about the package they have offered, Generally, the package lies between 3.6 LPA to 13 LPA. around 60 percent of students got placed through campus placement every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a minimal fee hike as that is a government college, and the cost to study is very low compared to other engineering colleges in India. There are several scholarships that were given by the state government as well as the central government.
Campus Life
Aureole is the annual technocultural fest organized every year on the college campus, along with the Aavahan, the annual sports fest. the library is quite good, and classes are well-equipped with smart gadgets. there are social welfare groups for underprivileged students.
Admission
I was selected from the cutoff for JEE Mains as I was among the top 5 percentile students who appeared for JEE Mains. Candidate should have more than or equal to 60 percent in class 12th and have qualified in JEE Mains examination. All the required information can be obtained through the official website of DTEMP (dte.mponline.gov.in). I was not eligible for the reservation benefits but reservations are available as per the rule of the Madhya Pradesh Government.
