- college dont have director from last 6 years
- college don't have its own infrastructure and because of that we don't have any hostel life
- college fest is big disappointment although the seniors are putting there 200 % for doing small small events , but since we don't have our director , taking permission from nit bhopal director is difficult
Course Curriculum Overview
IIIT Bhopal was running in NIT Bhopal and the infrastructure was provided by NIT Bhopal. some faculty are form NIT Bhopal and others have also completed their Ph.D. IIIT is an autonomous institute in which we have a semester system. we have a mini-exam for 10 marks, a mid-exam for 20 marks, an assignment - 10 marks, end term - for 60 marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are 210000 per year and it does not include the hostel and mess. govt of India don't provide fund because it is based on the PPP model and the fees is only used to sustain the college activities college don't provide any scholarship based on merit or reservation or need bases. there are various scholarships by govt of India that include the NSP scholarship and various state govt scholarships.
Campus Life
college was not having a director for the last 6 years so we were not having any tech fest of our own we can participate in nit bhopal fest but since we have got our director it is likely that we will organize our own tech fest. IIIT Bhopal shares library with nit bhopal so we have access to the largest central India library. we have our annual sports fest which is called sporlumania which is a 3-day long event that has a DJ night in the end. this whole scene looks like the sports event shown in chichore movie, there were inter-hostel matches. here we have inter-branch matches.
Admission
one needs to take JEE (Main) and secure at least 75% in the 12th board examination ( SC /ST 65% ). After giving JEE you have to fill out the form for JOOSA counselling in which we have to fill in the colleges according to our preference after that there will be 7 rounds in the counselling session and after that, there will be csab round in which the leftover seats are given to the students. There is a major drop in rank in the csab counselling so one has to take a seat and then go for csab also for better opportunities.
