I got a call for a personal interview based on my CAT percentile, after that a cumulative score was calculated based on my CAT score, interview score and other parameters like past academic performance, gender diversity, education field diversity, work experience etc and final admission calls were given based on this final score.

Yes, I had to appear for the personal interview round and it had a significant weightage in the admission process. Due to covid, the PI process was conducted in online mode and there was no GD & written test. In normal scenarios, there is also a written test and GD round as a part of the admission process.
