Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum at IIM Jammu is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of all the major subjects related to business management. These courses ensure that the students undergo a rigorous training process and succeed in their corporate careers in the future as well. The faculty members are quite cooperative and supportive as well. All the students are encouraged to ask questions, participate in various academic and non-academic activities that would help in their personal growth and development. The faculty-to-student ratio is also quite healthy and one-to-one interactions are very much encouraged. The students are regularly asked to submit faculty reviews which ensures that the student feedback is incorporated into personnel planning and management by the institution. The institute pays utmost importance to discipline and students are encouraged to inculcate time management into their daily habits. The administration is also very supportive and cooperative.

Placement Experience
The campus placements are quite good. The students are given exposure to companies from different domains. Students who perform well in the process are given attractive offers and PPOs by the companies as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since this is a new IIM, a fee hike takes place after every few years. However, there are also many scholarship opportunities for students who wish to avail of them. The institute administration regularly forwards the details to the students as and when new scholarships are floated.
Campus Life
The campus life at IIM Jammu is very interesting. All the students are encouraged to interact with one another and gel up through various group projects and assignments. The classrooms are well-equipped with all the required infrastructure. Sports and extra-curricular activities, clubs, and committees- everything is promoted by the institute to ensure the multi-dimensional development of all students. The annual cultural fest, Empyrean, is also quite interesting.
Hostel Facilities
Since the institute is in its inception phase, the hostel facilities are being upgraded regularly. With the inauguration of new campus at Jagati, most of the accommodation related problems will get resolved.
Admission
The admission process was conducted smoothly. All the required details were communicated well in time by the institute. The institute also conducted an orientation program in the beginning, which helped in better familiarization with our batch mates.
Interview Experience
Yes, I faced interview questions during the screening process. The interviewers were quite friendly and supportive. They mostly asked me questions from my undergraduate course and other GK type questions. An interesting question they asked was related to biomimicry, which tested my on-the-spot thinking abilities. To prepare for these rounds, I mostly focused on my undergrad course curriculum and the latest current affairs.
