- The thing that i disliked is not having a permanent campus. Though its not a big issue as the transportation facility is being provided by the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of IIM is very broad which includes Case discussions, quizzes, assignments, presentations, etc. The faculty members of IIM Amritsar are the alumnus of top b- schools like IIM Bangalore, Lucknow, Kozhikode, etc. The term exams will be in two phases, the mid-term happens after 1.5month the term starts and after 1 month the end term will be there.
Internships Opportunities
For summer internships the role that is being offered depends upon the company. The companies that come provides the role of Hr, sales and marketing, business marketing analyst, general management trainee, financial advisor, etc and all top BFSI sector companies is a recruiter along with several startups.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunity is provided in the college and to coordinate there is a placement committee. Good no. Companies visit every year for the summer as well as final placements and the college provides 100% placement opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of this course was 16lakh for the two-year program which includes both the course fees and the hostel charges. The loan facility is there for this program. The jobs are decent. The average package for this is around 1600000. The scholarship is also given to the top performers of the Institute.
Campus Life
The social life is very good. The annual cultural fest's name is Aarunya which usually takes place in the month of Feb. Apart from this several competitions were there and every festival is organized by our cultural committee. There are several committees, clubs and cells for different purposes.
Hostel Facilities
This program is a 2-year residential program. It is mandatory to choose the hostel. The accommodation is nice and it provides every amenities like a washing machine, geyser cleaning staff, etc. The mess menu changes after every trimester and the quality of food is decent.
Admission
To enrol in IIM Amritsar the entrance exam was conducted which is CAT. On the basis of CAT score and past performance if you are eligible then you have to make a payment of 1000 rs to appear for the Interview process.
Interview Experience
I had appeared for the CAT exam then the personal interview round was there and on the basis of these two, the admission happens. The interview was mostly about personal questions, general knowledge-based and current affairs, etc and some behavioural questions.
