GRIET is one of the good institutions in Hyderabad with good academic excellence

Written EAMCET and scored 73 out of 150. The college being one among top 5 institutions in academics and infrastructure I opted for it.

Every semester has got at least two lab subjects except for final semester where we have to work on major project. Industry oriented courses are provided to excel in minor and major academic projects. External examiners are invited to review the project work

GRIET provides Internship for only eligible M-Tech students based on the requirement and with a stipend of Rs. 8000 per month.

GRIET provides ample placements and job opportunities if you maintain good academic performance. IT Giants like TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, IBM, IGATE etc are the topmost hiring Companies for GRIET. Both product and service based companies conduct campus drives. GRIET placement cell is one of the best and most experienced among its competitors.

GRIET is the place for fun and entertainment besides quality education. Every year a technical fest PRAGNYA is conducted to bring out the innovative ideas of students. Followed by that GRIET also conducts Environment Fest to create the awareness on go green and reforestation.

GRIET has got a bit expensive fee structure post attaining autonomous status. But still the eligible candidates are provided with free reimbursement. Currently the tuition fee for B tech is around RS.90000

The state government offers free reimbursement for eligible students whose household income is categorized as below poverty line.

GRIET has got a spacious campus with all recreation centers like gym, large cricket ground, basket ball court, volleyball court, cricket nets and indoor game hall. Vast library is available for students. gender ratio in campus is 1:1 Every year at least two Robotic workshops will he held under the supervision of IITians.

GRIET doesn't have any hostel facilities, students move to nearby hostels and PGs which are in 2 Sq.Km range of the college. College has got a good mess/canteen for students. The quality of food is good and prices are reasonable. Apart from the canteen, there are other food stalls too.

GRIET has an alumni, but never interacted with the members.

GRIET conducts two mid terms and two lab internal every semester. Also a major external lab examination for each practical subject followed by Semester examination conducted by the university JNTUH. Practical labs are on three days of the week with a duration of three working hours.

After receiving the score we need to get all our education certificate and family income certificates(for fee reimbursement)verified. Later through web counseling we should prioritize the colleges and courses of our choice. Couple of weeks later from then we will receive the seat allotment message on our registered mobile number and email. Need to visit the allotted college with the allotment letter and prescribed day and get the admission done.

All the faculty are well qualified with a minimum qualification of post graduation and five years of teaching experience in relevant subjects. Few of the faculty are pursuing PhD in core areas. Each and every faculty is professional and attentive towards students.
