No such bad remarks about my college of the management or teachers because they were always helpful to me though out this one and a half year and have always been very supportive to me in every possible way.

VITMEE was the entrance exam, I gave to get admitted in MCA course. My rank was 88 and I chose the college because of its educational facilities, teaching as well as it's placements.

The course curriculum is good enough with its extravagant focus on the field of research. For the pg students, they organize a conference where the students get the opportunity to showcase their research papers and if it's good then it also gets published.

The college provides an excellent placement opportunity and is best in it. Companies like Amazon, PayPal, Morgan Stanley, Shop Clues, Deloitte, etc visit the college with a very good package. Apart from that the mass companies like TCS, CTS every year creates records all over India in its intake from VIT.

All most 90% of the students get placed. In our stream, around 50 students get placed in companies like Deloitte Cerner fico, etc with an average package of 6-7 lakhs per annum. A few get placed in companies like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, PayPal, Texas Instruments with an Average package of 15-20 lakhs from the MCA department. Rest gets placed in the mass companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys with a package of 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Well in this ground also, VIT excels itself with its famous tech fest named GRAVITAS which happens for four days. Apart from that, the most ultimate one is VIT's cultural fest named RIVIERA is one of the most famous and High budget fest all over India which happens for four days with Bollywood, Tollywood celebrities and singers as well as DJ night with famous dj's. Participation is huge and the preparation goes on for like 2 month's. Rehearsal's, Auditions also takes place.

The fee structure is quite feasible for my branch i.e MCA. It's 1.1 Lakhs per year and is a 2 years course. Hostel accommodation and fooding costs depend on the type of hostel u prefer and the mess u choose. All total in approx, taking all, 5 lakhs in 2 years is the maximum expense.

Loan availability from the bank is an option, I know because many of my friends have taken that so it won't be a problem. VIT provides a scholarship for good students who ranks between 1-3. It also provides scholarships for the students whose father incomes are less than a certain amount as per my knowledge.

Extracurricular activities also get good importance in VIT. There are many clubs starting from sports club to dance club to art club to singing club to photography club and many others. You can join any club you feel like. Every year Auditions happens for all the clubs and if you are a champ then you will obviously get along with the club. For BTech students, it's compulsory for the one to be associated with the club because they have certain credits for that. The robotics seminar, the workshop also takes place from time to time from the robotics club. Every Saturday Sunday certain workshop on Various domains takes place in VIT. The gender ratio is 60-40, 60 for men and 40 for women approx. No such existence of politics and economic status because within the campus all students are the same.

The hostel area covers the Maximum area out of the total area of VIT. Hence there will be no such scenario like No one getting room, etc. There are possibilities of not getting a room of your own preference like 4 bed, 2 bed or 6 bed or AC of non AC. That is a first cum first serve basis. Food is of ok type, but there is an option of paid mess also where one can eat what they want.

Yes, we have interacted with our seniors, alumni but that never affected my experience because they were very helpful and friendly. In fact the faculties arranged a senior-junior interaction in order to answer the queries of the juniors or to make them feel good in this new environment.

Yes, it's true that the days will be quite hectic for you and the labs also takes place. Assignments will make you mad because u will spend most of the time doing that. There is a total of 3 exams including the final one. Many quiz and class tests also take place.

I got the details from the VIT website. The notification was released in the month of February. The administration of the college was quite good and was helpful too while providing any information. They helped us and answered all our queries over the phone during the counseling process after the result got published.

The faculty of our college is quite good and are very helpful. Any time you can approach any faculty for any sort of help regarding academics or any other thing, they are ready to help. Not only that but if any student is going through any mental depression due to certain conditions then also they put their step forward to help them. Most of the faculties are having PhD degree with a vast knowledge in their domain.
