MNNIT the college : where all your college fun dreams becomes a myth

since MNNIT has a brand named NIT that's why no one can say its a bad college but there should be some improvement so that a student can say i am in a best college

i took IIT JEE and i scored 19,000(approx) rank and i opt for this college because it's ranking was good and it had the branch which i wanted.

The course structure is not that much good because college use to teach you some subjects which should not be there even professor's are not interested to teach those subjects...and in case of research student's have to work under professors and some professors are too good...you can never insult them

yes my college provides internship. even flipkart too comes for internship in our college. the stipend is really good for a college student . i have heard from our seniors that the overall experience is really awesome.

after all the engineering stuffs there are many more festivals organised in the college because of which we somehow feel like yes we are in NIT. a cultural festival called "CULRAV" get organised in the month of april in which many known faces are called . The next one is "AVISKAR" the technical fest of NIT allahabad many competitions are organised under this like robotics, automax etc even celebrities are called under an event called GNOTALKS , they are interviewed about there experiences of life . the next one is 'ATHLETIC MEET' in which many track events are organised in inter and intra level , many colleges visit for this event.. there is a less number of festivals but seriously they are awesome

The fee structure of college is about Rs 45000 ( fourty five thousand) per semester and they take additional mess fee charge of Rs 13000(thirteen thousand) per semester. And for me that is a person with family low annual income and no scholarship because of such rank it is really expensive .They should at least provide some type of recession and stipend to students.

Yet college is expensive but it provides some type of recession to the students whose parents annual income is less than 1 lac. you just have to submit your income certificate to the college.

every year about 1000 students get admitted in college among them maximum 150 are mainly girls . and 850 boys. many of them are from UP . for parties people have to go to civil lines because there no place in college for party and even they don't allow for it. many workshops are organised for students like ethical hacking. there are many clubs in the college students joins them according to there interest . In case of sports the athletics team of MNNIT is the best among all we have became 2 time overall champions, many other sports are played there like football, table tennis ,cricket etc . MUN get organised and every participants discuss about there country under a small parliament judges from outside are called many debates takes place and the winner is awarded .

MNNIT have 3 girls hostel and one is under construction from about 2-4 years. Girls hostel's are outside the campus and boys are in, don't know why. well the rooms of girls is too small . the room which is 1 seater have 2 students in it and that which should be 2 have 4 students in it. now mess food , mess don't provides non-veg it only gives you veg food which consists of potato only.the quality of rice and pulse is good but not all the time . you mainly like to eat outside but the restaurant (only by name) too are not that much good. PG's are far from college and the rate is about 5000 per month excluding vehicles cost .

seniors of mnnit are really awesome they use too support us every time and help us every time. they are the one who use to brief us about everything so that we will get something for our future. Alumni are the one to support us financially are by different modes at that time when college is not supporting us.

every one says engineering is really a tough hind and i'm experiencing it right now. well i'm PIE student of 2nd year so every semester we get about 31-35 hrs classes a week. with 4 practicals and seriously my each day is very hectic. we have to manage our academics, project, friends and family every thing. every week you have to do number of assignments and the syllabus too is difficult . In case of examinations college takes 2 exams every sem. now one is mid sem. exam and other is end sem. there is a gap of 2 months in each examination. after all that you get some vacations in which you have to stay in your hostel and work on your projects you don't get time for your family but yes it gives you another family in the college .

after counselling results i reached allahabda " the city of prime ministers & sangam" there were some procedures for admission in the college 1st u had to fill some undertaking by parents and students, and submit some certificates like your migration and 10th result. after that u have to submit your fee receipt and then they(college) will give you a receipt which will help u till you don't get your college i-card

well , we have kind of professors in our college like every other colleges, we have two type of professors, first of all type one. Many professors are from IIT's and they are really awesome they know how to teach a student and how to make student interested in there subject . They use to support you in bunk too if you are grateful to them in class. They use to entertain you if you are feeling bored in class they use to give break to you if you are attending class continuously from 3-4 hours they are really friendly in nature. and some of them are PHD students and as a student they really know our feelings that we are fed up with classes and just cancels the class. Now the other type the orthodox one they just come to class to complete the syllabus and to tell students that i won't give you marks according to your paper but instead according to my frustration on students they use to interrupt you everywhere u can't walk with your friend who is a boy in college they use to award you a black dot for it. well just because of some can't criticize good ones , so my faculties are really awesome.
