The ultimate college experience

The management needs a improve a bit but overall it is a good place to study and spend your college life. Amitian never regrets his/her college life. Believe me you will relish it.

I gave cpt mainly but then chose Amity. Amity now has its own test. If you pass this test you are eligible for interview and in the interview you need to write an essay first and then an interview. I cleared cpt but then thought of doing mba so chose b.com from amity. The side subjects apart from core ones allows us to learn new languages and work on other aspects of life.

The course is pretty good. It gives a wide variety of electives. One can choose their own field and excel in that only. With foreign languages as compulsory subject i.e one out of french spainsh german which is their every semester along with communication skills and behavioural science the course is very well prepared.

Internship it does provide but I am not very sure of stripend and stuff. Every summer we have either in house training or a minor project or a major project which carries a lot of importance and weightage in the overall result.

100℅ placement in engineering stream and in others too. Anyone who wishes to get a job after college gets one. Altough not all in b.com go for a job as they wish to prepare for mba but in engineering almost 100 companies come during last semester and everyone gets placed before the course ends. Wipro accenture ericsson think and learn Microsoft yamaha tech M all come. The package varies but it is between 3.5-7 only I guess but there are exceptions.

Amity youth fest Mba fest Several conferences in every department. They are big filmstars singers are there at the main event. There are several games and events and great prizes are awarded to winners. Its almost a 3 day fest. The afternoons are there for events and games while evening is for snacks and music and performances. Food and stalls are good nice advertising is there so overall its the time of year everyone waits for. Its during month of February.

Fees is to be honest quite expensive. Its a private university so you expect such fees. The campus is air-conditioned and the amenities provided are good but still fees is a lot as compared to others. In some way it is feasible but in some it is not. The fees is semester based and varies course to course with normal courses slightly less than engineering and law which are very expensive.

I know that college offers scholarship to students who do well in their 12th standard. The scholarship continues for top ranked students in each department and upto 100% scholarship for distinct achievers. Loan facility I am not sure about that but yes college helps everyone who wishes to study and achieve something.

The best campus life one can live. Gender ratio is equal and crowd is already well known. It is the college with best crowd as I feel. Sports are there including squash. There is a sports meet every year. No racism and all is there. People from all societies are there in the college and everyone is respected regardless to gender race religion.

The hostel is divided into ac non ac and are separate for girls and boys with security guards and marshalls on patrol everytime. There are enough hostels and cafeteria are also in abundance. There is no such thing as mess and meals are separate and not included in hostel fees. There is subway dominoes and CCD in college campus along with several vendors. The ac hostel fees is double the non ac ones. The non ac hostel are average while ac are good with private rooms but very small rooms.

The almuni network is very strong and good. There is an annual meet and seniors help juniors. There is also an online portal for interaction with alumni.

Exams are divided into majors and minors. Minors are like mid sem they are for internal review while majors are the end sems they are the main exams and carry 70% weightage. Labs are good and not quite hectic as we did not have many labs. But others also don't complain about the lab they are happy with datesheet for exams as sufficient time is given except for one or two subjects though thats the student mentality.

As mentioned above the form are out for courses in amity at my time. I filled it online then after sometime I was given an interview date and then an essay writing follwed by interview was the whole thing. I was then asked about my passions and interest and some good questions related to my domain. I was then asked the stream and then after few days result was published on the portal and all documents were mailed to me by post as well as email.

Faculty are very highly qualified. Although people don't rank amity quite high in studies but it is not the case. If a person wants to grow and achieve he can at Amity everything is there all opportunities are there its just you need to grab them. Faculties provide everything notes blueprint etc. There are regular assignment and internal marks too. They are punctual too. The schedule goes as it is planned no end moment changes in time table. Everything goes pre planned.
