Course Curriculum Overview
B.pharma is good for students who want to pursue a career in medical but couldn't get a seat in MBBS. If you have an interest in Biology and Chemistry, B.pharma is for you. DPSRU has top faculty including professors who got shortlisted in the top 2% of scientists in the world. The faculty is highly educated and has many research publications in their name. Semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester and 2 sessionals are conducted in between a semester. It is not difficult to pass the exams if you have good hands on the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Internships to be done within the course are of two types - Hospital Pharmacy and Industry. These are not provided by the university but are to be found individually. Hospitals easily appoint our students. No stipend is given in these.
Placement Experience
In the last year, students can sit for placements. Top pharmaceutical companies including Mankind, SunPharma, GSK, Accenture, Clarivate etc visit University and offers are made. After Bachelors, the average package is around 210,000Rs/year whereas after Masters it is around Rs10,00,000/year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The present fee structure is 90k/year. Scholarships are provided to students as per their family financial status by the government through National Scholarship Portal(NSP), E-district merit cum scholarship.
Campus Life
Many programs are conducted timely by the societies in the college. Currently, many events are organised in reverence to G20 these days. Every kind of book and journal is available in the library. The infrastructure of the university is very good. Classrooms are highly maintained. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted. Societies for dance, music, literature, photography, art and drama are very much active on the campus. Rotaract club, NSS and E-cell are also present and activities are conducted with great enthusiasm providing the students a great platform to showcase their management skills.
Admission
The admission process was online. Application forms are released on the official website. Check for the release of the forms after the 12th results. Admission is absolutely based on the 12th board results. Generally cutoff for the Gen category is 94%. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, minority, foreign students, PWD, and military students. The application fee is paid along with the form and a merit list is released after some time. A mail will be received to the top rankers for counselling.
