There was no entrance exam. I just applied through the counseling method and easily got selected for my cutoff of 160. You can also avail scholarship if you have scored more cutoff marks. Every year this value changes accordingly.
Course Curriculum Overview
I came to know that this college provides agriculture engineering which is not quite common among the other engineering colleges. so I chose this course. They have adequate faculty members who are all well-trained in their respective fields. There are around 10-12 faculties in a department. With some of them holding the doctorate degree.
Internships Opportunities
They allow students to do internships in their pre-final year and take them to your core companies to get a clear knowledge about the subject. And they have a 10 credit. project course in the final year where you can turn up your idea into a real-life model.
Placement Experience
They provide good placement offers for all willing students. The salary of the placement job varies from least 2LPA to the highest of 15LPA. Where most of the companies are IT backgrounds. 95% of students got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined through counseling with a good cutoff so the fee structure was like 85k per semester. This may differ if you join by management quota. They also provide other scholarships for First graduates and if have well-cutoff marks you can avail much more scholarships.
Campus Life
They frequently conduct various events like Velan thiruvizha, inter-collegiate events, hostel days, annual days, and other cultural events. They give huge support for sports and have also secured top places in national and state events. They have their media team, dance crew, and also a musical band.
