Brief description for DPSRU

I have a great interest in the medical field but failed to get admission to MBBS so I applied here and got admission. And I'm astonished to see the faculty work. The faculty is highly qualified and educated. The professors of this University are included in the top 2% of sciences in the world. This University is recognized as India's first pharmaceutical University. The course curriculum is the best and most enjoyable due to the creative indulgence of the faculty. The exams are simple and concept based. In a semester University conduct two sessional and an end-semester exam. You have to score a minimum 50 percentile in both the sessional and end semester exam.

Placement is provided by the college in the 4th year. The annual package for the B.PHARM course is 2.50 lpa to 6.75lpa. And for M.PHARM it's 3.50 lpa to 8.70 lpa. The highest package yet in M.pharm is 13 lpa. Almost 97% of students get placement in M.PHARM. In B.Pharm also 100% got placement but generally students apply for higher studies for better placement. It will be great for you if you go for higher studies which will facilitate you with a high package plus good promotion later in your jobs.

The current fee structure for B.Pharm is 90000 per year. Our college also provides financial assistance scheme for those students who are unable to pay the required amount.

The college organizes different events every month which provides a good opportunity to gain certificates that will help you in the future. Most organized events are poster competitions, debate competitions, writing competitions, presentations, dancing, singing competition, etc. The classes at our college are the best and filled with all the basic amenities like - comfortable seats, ac, projector, speaker, multi-entry-exit gates, and a good interior. The college has a camera at every site for your safety. Our college is ragging-free, smoking and alcohol-free, and tobacco-free. The college is currently developing indoor and outdoor playing grounds which will be completed by next year. The college has different clubs for students' entertainment like - the Rotaract club (which is an international club). Others are Fitoor (for roll play, street plays), verbs for singers and poets and writers, etc.

There is no entrance exam for admission. Admission is completely merit-based. For the general and OBC categories minimum percentage required in the 12th standard is 92-99%. For SC/ST category minimum percentage required is 70%-90% Your 12th should be from PCB or PCM or PCMB stream. 5% of seats are reserved for Persons with disability (PWD) students.
