My college experience

Some of the non teaching staff are arrogant. They always try to catch us from doing mistakes.and in college premises there is problem of drinking water because in evening hours they lock all the drinking water taps.

I took KCET Examination to get admission into his college my rank 10000 among more than 200000 students..from childhood I love Mechanical Engineering from my seniors I got know that this is one of top college in Karnataka for Mechanical Engineering. That's why I took admission.

Course structure of our college is good and different from other colleges our college always go for updated and industry required curriculum. And we will be given with many open ended tasks in each subject while doing open ended tasks we will end up reading many journal papers and from them we get ample amount of knowledge and conceptual clarity towards the subjects and we will be given with the lesson plan which consists everything about the subjects.

No our college won't provide any kind of internship. We have college clubs there we will get enough amount of practical knowledge and industrial experience. And we are demanding college for internships. if we want they will give letter from college for industries.

Placements are good for CS,IS , IT AND EC Guy's and not bad for Mechanical companies that visit our campus are Walmart Labs, Applied Material,Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Microsoft ,BHEL, Indian Navy, Infosys , Accenture, and many more companies visit and salary package ranges from 17 lpa to 3.6 lpa.

We celebrate many events such as pleadis it's national level tech fest of our college and Sapphire it's a inter department competition and We have terrnaut it's our colleges largest robotic competition. Winning prize ranges from 1.5 lac to 1500. There will be many small events and competition and we have many inter department competition in sports such as cricket , kho-kho, Kabbadi, Badminton,etc... And at the end based on the points they declare best department of the college.

Our college comparatively very cheaper and Quality one for that matter we pay only Rs 16000 per year. For other guys who took admission through un aided seat they have to pay 60000. And for Comed K students pay 160000 per year and all fees are based n there mode of admission and we don't have any problem with fee structure.

No such scholarship facility. But for SC ST and topper students they have separate library scheme where in they allowed to keep books for 6 months

In our we get ample opportunity to show our talent because we have separate technical and non technical clubs ( BVB MOTORSPORTS , ROBOCON, LITERATURE CLUB,AERO KLE etc.. and SSC ( Student Secretary Council). They spend more than 30 Lpa for BVB Motorsports CLUB alone and I am proud part of that.

Rooms are average but food is very good and there is know limitation on food. Daily menu for hostel consists of Breakfast , Lunch, snacks, Dinner. Per year mess fees is 25000 and hostel fees is 34000. In hostel we have 2 types of rooms i e are rooms with attached bathroom and non attached where in hostel fully connected with high-speed WiFi and Greenery.

Alumni Network is not bad and they are not of much help full also only some of them come and guide us.

We write 2 internal exams which will have weight age of 50% and seem end Examination and which accounts for remaining 50%. Examinations are held strictly and all the questions are Indirect and application based. And eligibility for writing final exam is based on two things on is attendance and cut off marks. One should have minimum of 75% attendance and 40 % of marks. And clear the subject passing marks is 40.

As I got descent rank in KCET I managed to get aided( reduction in fees for top rank holders) seat in this college. so they verified my all documents and they gave one date and asked us to come for admission. Admission process was quick and easy one you should take your all the documents and they must self attested

Some of faculties are very good and they came from IITS and IISC. but some of teacher are not satisfactory in teaching . Because for junior teachers if we ask any doubts from GATE or practical questions they fail to answer them but some teachers are very good and they clear all the concepts and touch upon their practical importance.
