Good College with Excellent teaching in backward area

Though institute have well teaching faculty and so but it lacks in the infrastructure. Government don't provide required fund for the development of the campus and laboratories.

I opted for the Diploma in Engineering & Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering as it provides basic to semi advanced plus practical knowledge of the field which is most of the useful in persuing degree in Engineering.

The curriculum and Exam for this institute is conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai (MSBTE). Curriculum is designed to cover theory plus practical portion of the field and it is revised every 5 years to make it relevant to industrial environment.

The institute don't provide any Internship yet but In new upcoming curriculum of I Scheme w.e.f. 2017-18 MSBTE has made internship compulsory for the students. So there are chances that Internship will be provided as it is prescribed in the new curriculum.

Many companies such as L&T, TATA MOTORS, MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA invites student for open campus and select the students based on their knowledge and skills. It involves steps including aptitude, subject skill, other activities etc. Many students have been selected in different companies though they didn't offer high package. The average package offered by these companies is below 2 Lac per annum for the training period.

Institute have various events throughout the year. Many students of the institute participated in various Technical events conducted by Polytechnic and Engineering colleges in Maharashtra. MSBTE also conduct State level quiz and project competition hosted by any Polytechnic in Maharashtra. One team from institute won 1 st prize at National Level Technical Competition held at Jagdamba Engineering college Yavatmal. Institute also conduct annual sports week and gathering to enhance the students skill in respective area.

As the college is Government, fees are negligible. Fees structure are as follows: 1) For general category Tuition Fees: ₹6000/- Other fees : ₹1750/- 2) For Reserved category Tuition Fees: Null Other fees : ₹1750/- It offers various scholarships such as GOI POST MATRIC scholarship, VIDYA VETAN, EBC scholarship,etc

Institute have gender ratio of about 38:50 (Female : Male). Campus is pleasant and whole environment is pretty good. Institute arrange various workshops and Expert lectures for the students which have been helped students to gain extra knowledge related to curriculum.

Institute have only one hostel for girls only and boys hostel is in the process. Intake capacity is 120 students. Each room is allotted to 2 students only. It includes mess facility. The hostel room rent is Null but student have to pay for the mess charges only which is about ₹11000/- annually.

Institute of going to establish Alumni Society by contacting the passed out students and seeking their experience and helps for the students.

Exams are divided in two categories. 1) Theory Examination 2) Practical Examination Both the examinations are conducted by MSBTE theory exam paper is of 100 marks and 3 hrs . While Practical exams have viva the marks are different for different subject. It also includes term works related with Practicals of students and given by the college.

Two ways to get admission after passing the 10th Examination in 1st year and after passing 12 th exams in direct second year. The admission process is Centralised and carried by Directorate of Technical Education, Government Of Maharashtra. The admission Process starts immediately after the announcement of SSC Board result. The faculty is well qualified and experienced. All the faculty are appointed by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. They selected through tough Examination conducted by MPSC. So, faculty is not fix but they are transferred within any Government Polytechnic in Maharashtra State.
