Wonderful and way beyond my expectations.

Many people might complain about the college. This and that but to me the college had been great. I got a lot of exposure and opportunities which helped me develop and polish my skills as an engineer and as an individual.

I wrote the AIEEE exam. I don't remember what I scored but my scores were not that great. I took admission in the college through management quota and I chose this college based on my sister's recommendation. The admission process was an interview with the chairman and a couple of forms.

When it comes to curricular, I would rate it 2 out of 5 as the the curriculum being followed is according to Rajasthan Technical University and what is being delivered is old school technology and subjects way beyond today's industry and it's expectations.

Yes the college does provide Internships. The general stipend varies in between 5-10K. Apart from internships, the college is linked to several programs like Google Student Ambassador program, Developer Student Club (Google), Microsoft Student Ambassador and Associate programs that give a great exposure to students.

Placements and job opportunities vary. But till the time I passed out placements were about 70-80%. With a highest package of 21L. Generally package varies between 3-6 Lakh depending on company. Companies that generally higher from the campus are Syntel, IGATE, Capgemini, Genpact, Infosys, Nagaro, Appirio and others. Several BPOs also come for placements and the package generally varies based on students academics and the company plus there requirements. Criteria for most of the good companies is at least 60% throughout High School, Senior Secondary and Engineering without running backlogs. Some companies come for pool campus and students are asked to attend the drives in other colleges. Generally the drives are in Poornima, RCEW, Arya college of Engineering etc.

In College we celebrate three major events. Apart from small events happening every month and week. The three major events are: Jigyasa: technical Event Rudrika: Cultural Event Vanquish: Sports Event Jigyasa: Annual Techno-Management Symposium of GLOBAL TECHNICAL CAMPUS starts with an objective of achieving stardom in the race of technology inviting the technocrats from all over India. Rudrika: Aiming to provide something for everyone, RUDRIKA has a huge legacy of top quality competitions to nurture youth talent and promote it through the "Live Your Passion" campaign. With concerts and various artists performing over 3 days, RUDRIKA makes it a point to constantly entertain the visitors. Vanquish: Vanquish is a national level sports meet organized by Global Technical Campus each year.The fest witnessed a crowd of over 5000+ participants last year and GTC is hopeful to achieving a new milestone this year.

I never applied for a loan or a scholarship. But both are present. Loans can be applied through the finance department of the college through bank. While for scholarships Ramanujan Maths Competition and some other exams are conducted. Information is displayed on the notice boards from time to time and announcements are made in the class by the mentors and class representatives.

Gender ratio is 6:4 (male:female). The college has a diverse student and faculty mass as we can find people from all the parts in India. The college has rich extra curricular events. While every month events are hosted, the students always take interest in active participation be it culture sports or technology. Various programs like the Google Student Ambassador Program and Microsoft student Ambassador program are also active in college and multiple tech and non tech groups are also working in college with student leads. These help students develop technical as well as non technical skills. Robotics club is very active in college and students have performed at Robocon Singapore with world class robots.

Rooms and hostels are good and the facilities are good. Hostels have centralized Air conditioning. Hostels are available in three sharing and four sharing. Breakfast, lunch, tea and snack and dinner are the four meals served in a day. The hostels and the entire campus is well cleaned and hygienic. There are playgrounds dedicated for badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket, table tennis and football. That makes a perfect balance between studies and sports.

Alumni and senior network is awesome and we all stay connected via Facebook pages and groups that are managed by college administration along with alumni and current students.

The admission process is not very hard. While 70 % seats at my time were reserved for RPET candidates, 15% for AIEEE and 15% for management quota. I hadn't secured good marks in AIEEE and I was not from Rajasthan so I didn't took the RPET exam. I had to go through an interview with the chairman of the college Mr. Anand Singhal. It was a short interview of about 15 minutes and he asked me several questions related to my academics, family and how I landed in that college. After the interview I got admission confirmation and the staff guided me through forms and formalities.

The faculty of the college is great. They are always helpful and they always motivated me to do something that matters. Faculty is highly qualified and they always try to motivate students towards research work. In the faculty we have a mix of young as well as experienced faculty and that makes the perfect balance. The teachers always help and guide us and also provide support in arranging for all stuff required for projects and events.
