Women's college - a new experience

College manage ment is not so supportive ...Different different rules each n every day are issued which is a problem for the students ..Otherwise it is okay .

NATA , this is an all over India aptitude test which we need to give for pursuing in architecture course . The reason why I chose this course was 1. My family background is related to this degree 2. And engineering is much boring though with less options and no fun .

The course is very vast .As by guiness book of records , architecture is the toughest course .And I agree with that .The course structure is good but compared to other states , not so satisfactory .We have many subjects like design ,construction and theory subjects as well ecology ,services which give us the overall learning exposure with practical as well as theoretical knowledge

In architecture ,a very few college provide internsship .On the basis of the portfolio n contacts the internships are done .

College reputation is good ,so the students passing out get jobs under good architects ,like at Karan Grover etc etc .In Architecture ,no companies are there, firms exists with principal architects .In Architecture good payments are provided ,which is a positive aspect

Our college has an annual exhibition parishkriti .In which many architects are invited for their inputs and the whole yr work on the students us displayed in that exhibition .We have annual fest as well .And time to time seminars . As my college is a design college ,FD is also a course so time to time fashion shows also held

Not so expensive. 25000 for one semester is the tuition fee . Being the women's college .The turion fee is low ...As compared to other colleges ...Even the govt college and our college fee structure when compared ,then no such huge difference is found in fees

Scholarships for minority groups and OBC ,SC ,St are provided and single girl child as well . Loan facility is also available for the students who cannot afford the tuition fee

Gender ratio. Is not an issue. As it is a girls college. We feel free because no teasing by the boys etc etc. Workshops are also held time to time which is good aspect and gives students a alot of exposure . No race ,religion discrimination or any other discrimination is done.

Hostel facilities are too good ..New hostels are being constructed in the campus .Mess facility is to be taken care off .Food is good but not satisfactory .It is Jain hostel so every rules and regulations. Of the Jain's are followed ,no non veg is allowed in the campus .

Senior junior relationship is okay .Not so cool .But the seniors are helpful when it comes to help with the work issue .Satisfied

Exams are a very serious issue to think about .It is affiliated to RGPV university, which is not so good .They don't provide time table on time .Neither the copies are checked properly ,they fail students just for the sake of money. They get for exam and Reval.very bad condition

There is a councelling procedure after giving the NATA exam and it was based on state region. Like I belong to Madhya Pradesh ,so I attended the MP state councelling .And I filled my choice of studying in women's college as the first option and I got this college . Then just the college formalities after allotment .

We have very highly qualified double m.arch faculties from Yale and Manchester and many other .They have a lot of experience in terms of practical aspect as well as theoretical aspects . Many initiatives are taken by the faculties of the college for students betterment and environment
