Course Curriculum Overview
I'm a student pursuing MBA in SME IIT-J. The flagship program in this department is Tech-MBA. It also provides a dual degree. The faculty: student ratio is 1:2 All the faculties are PHDs. The course has 2 term exams every year
Internships Opportunities
The name of the companies that visited the campus last year is American Express, Sutherland, EY, PWC, IDBI, Zycus, Droom, Bank of Baroda, DHL, Cognizant, and TCS. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE OFFERED WAS 23 LPA. The average package offer is 12 lpa for the final year
Placement Experience
Summer Internship starts in the second semester. For final placements, students are eligible to sit for campus placement from 3rd semester itself. There are a number of companies that visited last year 150 offers were made from different companies. The highest package offer is 23 lpa whereas the average package is 12 lpa. The students get 100% placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is pretty decent compared to other B-schools. Scholarship opportunities are also available. First-year students get internship opportunities in various esteemed organisations whereas second-year students sit for final placements. 100% placements for summers, as well as finals, have been recorded every year.
Campus Life
The campus is very beautiful it has greenery and lush beauty. The campus is also called The Pearl of the Desert. There are various annuals and tech fest which happens throughout the year. Books and journals are available in the library 24/7. Various sports and extracurricular activities take place throughout the year. We have a number of clubs, groups and committees which are run by student bodies, even hostels are run by student bodies.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are provided in the campus. The rooms consists of a cupboard, chair, desk, bed and AC. The quality of meal is very good, they provide both veg and non veg food. Enough rooms are available in the hostel so therefore no PG is required for students.
Admission
The college takes admission on the basis of the CAT percentile. All the information is available on the website. It focuses on gender diversity and academic diversity. The admission process is very robust and hassle-free
Interview Experience
The admission process starts with filling up of the application form wherein the students are required to enter their academic details as well as cat percentile. After which the selection list is published wherein the selected candidates are called for the personal interview. Interview is being taken by 3 or 4 panel members. There are no GD rounds
