Remarks

In Every college there is good and bad. I'll tell about bad first consideration of caste and religion in most of the times. Very bad infrastructure being a 100 year old college.. This is sad. #Good on placements, general exploration unity

Entrance Preview

I took CET Karnataka. And my allover ranking was 3613. To be honest this was the best college for my ranking and so I had no more option. Moreover this was fully govt affiliated college and obviously lesser fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

On the basis of course I choose mechanical engineering nothing like it's easy and one of the best research related field. And yeah rather than this we have CS EC EEE IS Civil as other electives. And even the electives are good in research field too. That's obvious research is everywhere

Internships Opportunities

Actually yes for other branches. But for mechanical we need to find it our own from outdoor. But in other branches I heard they have really good internships and stipends

Placement Experience

4.5

In UVCE the best thing is placement. Like in very branches 70% students gets placed in which 15% gets places in core companies. As far I know companies for mechanical like Royal en field Benz Foratia BPCL MRPL etc And there are too many mass companies getting into.

College Events

3.5

Our college fests are kind a economic and everything runs inside a very small budget. 1) technical fests namely impetus, inspiron, kagada 2) cultural fests fiesta, milagro And nothing like management fests though Here unlike other top colleges we won't get much of sponsorship

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government college here the fees structure is too less when compared to other engineering colleges. Like here it again depends on caste which is one worst thing even during placements For GM students yearly fees come up to 25000 rs. Excluding hostel and exam fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

For GM students the scholarship is absolutely a zero. No words about it But for SC/ST students the scholarship is like ocean from which they Can buy bike. Honestly as we know Karnataka education corporation sucks

Campus Life

2

The best chilled college life can be experienced here. Genders ratios are almost equal.... But no place for parties inside campus Here everything runs really good but when it comes to college fees, scholarship, placements religion comes in between students and breaks the hell out of unity inside. No politics inside bLow economic status

Hostel Facilities

3

Really really worst hostel to be honest. And there is no nearby PG's available here too. And all the rooms in hostel are shared among students and keeping it clean depends on us Fees per year for GM students is 20000 rs But the only good thing is it too close to college.

Alumni/Alumna

This should be notes . The only thing the college is alive is because of alumni and senior students. Here the students are getting great help from their alumni. And most of the alumni are in good positions

Exam Structure

Exams are like one hell times for students . Unlike VTU ours is affiliated to Bangalore university which is deep syllabus and hell out of strictness. And one good thing is in here our own lecturers correct our papers Which is like a boon to every students but sometimes it's a hell too

Admission

In CET Karnataka The procedure is too hard. Taking a online application once after we get allotment to Particular college which will be announced after a month. Then all the admission stuffs gets finished in a day. So the overall admission was okay kinda

Faculty

2.5

Being fully affiliated govt college the lecturers and faculty are highly qualified. Like most of the faculty lecturers have at least 3 degrees with P.hd. Nothing great about infrastructure likewise it is in poor condition . Lecturers are really good and student friendly
